Corps flood damage reduction projects have prevented an estimated $1.55 billion in flood damage in North Carolina. Corps projects in North Carolina provide an average of $42.8 million in flood damage prevention benefits annually.

Water supply - B Everett Jordan Lake, Falls Lake, and W Kerr Scott Lake have a total of 120,269 acre-feet of water storage providing a total project yield of 313 million gallons per day (mgd).
