Step 3• Before your groups writes a superior thesis, you all must

contemplate your stance on this question.• Do you agree or disagree? Did the French and Indian

War alter or not alter the relationship between the British and their colonies?

• Are you all at a overwhelming yes or no or in between.

• Discuss and back with the evidence

Step 4

• Come up with a superior complex/split thesis which addresses all aspects of the prompt.

• Do this together, however, everyone is responsible for completing one individually

• TIME: Remainder of class to complete 4-5

Step 5

• Once you’ve created your thesis, create a chart with your categories and each piece of evidence you will include to support that particular category

• Note: Ideally you should have 3-4 for each supporting category to back up your argument.

• Once you have completed steps 1-5 as a group and individually complete slide 10 and turn it in on Monday.

• If you are in school, I will provide a copy of slide 10

• If you are absent, you are responsible for printing slide 10 and submitting it at the beginning of class.
