“The Evident 3”

1. Do you have a common framework, language, and set of tools for managing significant change?

2. To what extent are your plans integrated into your overall project plan?

3. Finally, who is accountable for effective change management in your organisation: Managers or “Experts” ?

If Change is NOT managed

! Active resistance emerges and sabotages the change.

! Valued employees become disinterested and leave the organisation, a very costly loss.

! Divides are created within the very system.

! New risks arise – to the project, to the organisation, to the employees involved, and to the individuals supporting the change.

If Change is EFFECTIVELY managed

! Employees have a solid understanding of Why the change is happening, and engage in both the solution and the change.

! Senior leaders demonstrate their commitment and deal with resistance in the early stages.

! A momentum is built & the organisation begins to create a history of successful change, establishing a better backdrop for the next change initiative.
