• In Croatia exists over 80.000 companies - mostly private sector

• During the economic crisis many companies in Croatia were left in serious problems and the environment isn’t improving:| Taxes are increasing, | Laws are changing on daily basics,| Investments are still extremely low and| Personal consumption is decreasing.

Result – insolvency and liquidation due to the increased operating costs

| But, expectations and prediction of next couple of years are mostly optimistic

• In 2012. every entrepreneur faced another annual decrease of production in all main industrial affiliations

• situated in 81th out of 144 counties - among the countries of southeastern Europe – Montenegro in 72nd place, Romania in 78th, Bosnia and Hercegovina in 88th, and Albania in 89th
