14. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE COUNCIL'S REPRESENTATIVE PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN ALL NECESSARY WARNING SIGNAGE, LIGHTING AND BARRICADING TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROAD MANAGEMENT ACT.
15. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAKE PROPER PROVISION AND TAKE ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS FOR THE LEGAL DIVERSION OF FLOOD AND DRAINAGE WATERS AND THE PROPER DISCHARGING OF FLOWS DURING THE PROGRESS OF THE WORKS.
16. APPROPRIATE SILTATION CONTROL IS TO BE CARRIED OUT DURING THE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE PERIOD IN ACCORDANCE WITH MAROONDAH CITY COUNCIL REQUIREMENTS.

19. DRAINAGE TRENCHES WITHIN ROAD RESERVE AND PAVED AREAS TO BE BACKFILLED AND REINSTATED AS PER MAROONDAH CITY COUNCIL STANDARD DRAWING MCC-105.
20. ALL PITS TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH COUNCIL'S STANDARD DRAWINGS AND AS NOTED ON THE PLAN. PITS DEEPER THAN 1.0m TO HAVE STEP IRONS PROVIDED AS PER MAROONDAH CITY COUNCIL STANDARD DRAWINGS.
21. SHAPE INVERT OF ALL PIT FLOORS WITH MASS CONCRETE TO PROVIDE A SMOOTH TRANSITION BETWEEN PIPES UP TO SPRINGING LINE.
22. ON COMPLETION THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REMOVAL OF ALL BUILDING WASTE, RUBBISH AND SPOIL FROM THE SITE. NO SURPLUS TREES, VEGETATION OR OTHER MATERIALS IS TO BE BURNT ON SITE.
PROCEDURES FOR THE PLACEMENT OF COMPACTED FILL23. STRIP OFF ANY TOPSOIL AND ROOT MATTER TO EXPOSE THE SUBGRADE.
24. THE EXPOSED SUBGRADE SHOULD BE MOISTURE CONDITIONED TO WITHIN 3% OF OPTIMUM MOISTURE CONTENT (OMC) AND COMPACTED OVER THE TOP 200MM TO ACHIEVE A MINIMUM DRY DENSITY RATIO OF 95% STANDARD, IN ACCORDANCE WITH AS1289 5.1.1 AND 5.4.1 OR 5.7.1.
