Mikey Thanh

Every month Mikey will share a new blog and video. Pass the helpful information along to your children and grandchildren. He helps guide teens into making good financial decisions, whether in High School or in College. Parents can also learn ways to help their child create a road map for financial responsibility.

The Credit Union is proud to introduce Michael “Mikey” Thanh as the first-ever uAccounts spokesperson. Mikey impressed us with his video submission for the 2012 Scholarship contest where he laid out the challenges facing young consumers in this economy. We liked his financial savvy and on-screen presence, and thought he was the perfect person to deliver no-nonsense tips and tricks to his peers and their parents.

In August, Mikey headed to Fort Collins to begin his college career at Colorado State University. He is majoring in Computer Engineering. Mikey attended Legacy High School in Broomfield where he was a member of the state championship marching band and participated in the 2011 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. He was also a member of the National Honor Society, a Legacy 2000 participant, and an active volunteer at St. Mark’s Catholic Church.
