The Lake With majestic gum trees providing the backdrop, enjoy a tranquil ceremony beside our beautiful lake.

The Old Oak Trees Providing ample shade for you and your guests on a beautiful sunny day, the oak trees are the perfect location for your outdoor ceremony.

The Cottage Garden Carefully manicured box hedges, shady trees and an assortment of flowers make this secluded area ideal for a more intimate wedding.

The Historic Barn Beautifully restored to its original condition, the historic barn offers the perfect setting for a unique and rustic ceremony (subject to availability).

Ceremony packages start from $300* and includes:

• Your choice of ceremony location.

• Up to 12 white chairs.

• Registry table, chairs and white linen table cloth.

Additional options:

• Extra chairs can be added for $8* each.

• Red carpets, umbrellas and additional outdoor furniture can be hired for you, please discuss with the Brown Brothers Wedding Coordinator.

• Private Cellar Door wine tasting: While you are having your photographs taken at various locations within the grounds of the winery, treat your guests to a private wine tasting at Cellar Door. Available from 5.30pm for $10* per person.

BARN RECEPTION

The beautifully restored historic Barn is the ultimate space for a unique ceremony, a gorgeous cocktail reception or intimate sit-down meal. Right in the heart of Brown Brothers Milawa, the barn offers a quaint and rustic setting; one your guests will never forget.

Brown Brothers is passionate about using fresh, local produce and our menu is changed regularly to reflect the best seasonal produce. We offer a range of dishes to create the perfect menu for you and your guests. Our staff provide exceptional service throughout the evening ensuring that you are able to sit back, relax and enjoy your special day.

Our Wedding Coordinator can assist you with advice on local suppliers of wedding cakes, wedding cars, photographers, music, florists and celebrants and is happy to discuss your requirements to create a package tailored to suit you and reflect your personalities.

Barn reception includes:

• Exclusive use of reception venue.

• Use of grounds for photography.

• Your choice of round or long tables with Bentwood chairs.

• White linen table cloths and white linen napkins.

• All table settings including crockery, cutlery, glassware and table numbers#.

• Printed menus, place cards and seating plan#.

• Tea light candles.

• Microphone for speeches.

• A selection of six wines of your choice (as per package chosen).

• Cutting and serving of wedding cake individually or on platters.

• Soft drinks.

• Tea and coffee.

STANDARD CONDITIONS

• A venue hire fee of $950* is applicable to all bookings. • All packages are for a five and a half hour duration commencing with pre dinner drinks and canapés at 6.30pm. • Alcoholic beverage service concludes at 11.30pm and guests are to depart by midnight. • Minimum number of guests is 70 with a maximum of 140 people.• For a wedding of less than 70 guests a minimum spend will apply.

Adjacent to the Cellar Door at Milawa, Patricia’s Table is a beautiful reception venue that is suitable for both modern and rustic styles with stunning floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the manicured lawn and gardens.

SUPPLIER MEALSMeals for suppliers (photographer, band members etc) can be arranged and include main course only and soft drinks for $50* per person. Alcohol will not be provided to suppliers.

BONBONNIERESGive your guests a bonbonniere they’ll love with a Brown Brothers “Mini” bottle of wine. Choose from six different varieties. Please speak to the Brown Brothers Wedding Coordinator if you wish to explore personalised labels on the Minis.

THE HOUSE • Access to a private room in “The House”

for the bridal party of up to eight people between the ceremony and reception for photographs and relaxing before joining your guests at the reception. Includes a bottle of sparkling wine, beer and canapés at a cost of $100*. Each additional bridal party member is $10* per person.

• Access to “The House” all day for either the bride or groom getting ready, before and after ceremony photographs as well as relaxing before joining your guests at the reception for the bridal party of up to eight people. Includes a bottle of sparkling wine, beer and canapés at a cost of $250*. Each additional bridal party member is $10* per person.

• Choose to serve cheese and charcuterie boards instead of canapés for an additional $50*.

BEVERAGES• Beverage package extensions $10* per person,

per half hour (beverages inclusive).• Grape Tree served all night from $8*

per person (cannot be substituted for wines included in your package).

• Serve one wine from our Patricia range all night from $20* per person (subject to availability).

• Serve an aged vintage wine hand selected from our family cellar to be served with a course of your choice. Prices start from $60* per bottle (subject to availability).

PRICES QUOTEDAll prices quoted are correct at the time of publication. Please confirm all costs with the Brown Brothers Wedding Coordinator prior to booking. All prices quoted are inclusive of GST. All pricing is upfront with no hidden fees.

DEPOSITA deposit of $2,000 is required to secure your preferred date and is payable within two weeks of booking. Bookings are not confirmed and preferred date is not held until deposit has been paid in full.

BALANCEThe balance of your final invoice is required to be paid in full 14 days prior to the wedding date. The final invoice is calculated on the final guest numbers advised, less your original deposit. No refunds will be made for any reduction in guest numbers after this date. Additional guests may be added at the Brown Brothers Wedding Coordinator’s discretion and will be charged accordingly.

PAYMENTSPayments may be made by cash, credit card, bank cheque or direct debit. All credit card payments will attract a 2% surcharge. We do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards. All accounting and banking details will be supplied on your invoice. Payment plans are available on request. CANCELLATIONAll cancellations must be confirmed in writing to the Brown Brothers Wedding Coordinator. If cancellation occurs more than 365 days prior to your wedding date, your deposit is refundable. If cancellation occurs less than 365 days prior to your wedding date, your deposit is 100% non-refundable. Weddings cancelled within 14 days of the wedding date will be charged the full value of the function as previously agreed and discussed with the Brown Brothers Wedding Coordinator.

TRANSFER OF DATEAny request to transfer wedding date shall be at the discretion of the Brown Brothers Wedding Coordinator and is subject to availability. Any change of date must be requested in writing.

FINAL GUEST NUMBERSFinal guest numbers are to be confirmed with the Brown Brothers Wedding Coordinator no later than 21 days prior to the wedding date. Changes to confirmed guest numbers are not accepted beyond this time. Final invoicing will be based on the final guest numbers advised.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTSOur chefs are happy to cater for special dietary requirements provided prior notice is given. The Brown Brothers Wedding Coordinator should be advised of all dietary requirements no later than 21 days prior to the function date.

ENTERTAINMENTAll entertainment should be arranged by the couple. Please communicate your arrangements with the Brown Brothers Wedding Coordinator. All costs incurred for performance fees, staging, lighting etc are the clients’ responsibility.

BYOBrown Brothers is strictly a NO BYO venue. Any alcohol brought onto the Brown Brothers licensed premises will be disposed of.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOLBrown Brothers practises Responsible Service of Alcohol. Brown Brothers reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any person if in breach of Responsible Service of Alcohol and/or request that they leave our licensed premises.

HIRE ITEMSSome images used in this brochure include items hired by individual couples and are not necessarily representative of items that are included in the standard Brown Brothers wedding packages. Images used in this brochure are designed to show what is possible for each ceremony and reception location. The Brown Brothers Wedding Coordinator is happy to discuss and assist you to hire non-standard or additional items for your wedding. The cost of all hired items will be payable by the couple including (but not limited to) all delivery charges, set up and pack up fees and hire company insurance fees etc.

DAMAGESThe person signing the terms and conditions agreement form shall be held responsible for any damage to property, fixtures or fittings, whether inflicted by their own actions or through the actions of their guests, contractor or subcontractors. This person shall be liable for the cost to repair or replace damaged items.Brown Brothers will take all necessary care with personal articles on the premises, however we accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to these items prior to, during or after your wedding.
