Be a part of the Christmas Story!

Opportunity

Children’s Ministry encourages families to support the CUMC congregation-wide mission Holiday Food Basket project. CUMC is collecting food items to provide Christmas food baskets for families in need in the community. Below is a list of most-needed food items for these Holiday Food Baskets. Monetary donations to sponsor these food baskets can also be made– please note ―Food Baskets‖ in the memo line and place it in the offering basket or bring it to the church office. Please place all donations of food items in the ―Food for All‖ bins in the Narthex.

Family Movie Night

January 19, 7:00 PM Families and friends of CUMC are invited to a free showing of Disney / Pixar’s classic animated film ―Toy Story‖ at 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 19 in the Recreation and Outreach Center (ROC).

Bring your chairs and blankets and get comfy in the ROC for a fun family movie night. A light nut-free snack will be provided. Families are welcome to bring their own snacks (no nuts please) and covered drinks. Contact Diane with any questions.

2017-2018 Preschool Priority Registration – Priority registration for all CUMC church members will be January 9 – 13. General registration for the public will begin Tuesday, January 17 during the preschool Open House at 7pm. Registration Information and 2017-2018 Applications for Admission will be available on the church website and at the Welcome Center by late De-cember. All applications must be received by 2pm Janu-ary 13 to be considered for priority registration.

2017-2018 Preschool Open House – will be January 17 @ 7pm. All class-rooms will be open for a tour and teachers will be available to discuss the special preschool program CDS has to offer. Both parents and children are welcome to attend.
