Classically trained Russian-born American artist Vladislav Yeliseyev received his

formal art education in 1977 and later earned his Master’s Degree at The Moscow

Institute of Architecture. Since then he moved to the United States and participated

in numerous group and individual exhibitions. His unique ability to reflect

transparency of natural light in his paintings and to accentuate the artistic qualities

of depicted objects quickly earned him a high reputation among art collectors. He

also worked for various commercial, residential and government projects such as

Red Cross, Universities, Hospitals, etc. Presently, Vladislav (Vlad) is practicing his art from his own art

studio in Sarasota, FL. In 1996 Vladislav won the Formal Presentation Drawing Award from American

Society of Architectural Illustrators. After receiving lots of inquires about his watercolor techniques, he

released an instructional DVD – watercolor workshop with Vladislav Yeliseyev “Painting Architecture”.

Vladislav Yeliseyev is a founder of Renaissance School of Art in Sarasota, FL where he teaches classes

and workshops all year round. Vlad is an award winning artist and an exhibiting member of many art

societies nationwide including American Impressionist Society, American Watercolor Society, and Florida

Watercolor Society. He is a signature member of National Watercolor Society, Florida Suncoast

Watercolor Society and others.

Vladislav Yeliseyev is a plein air artist participating in paintouts nationwide and abroad. He has won

numerous competitions during national paintouts. His most recent is an award at the 2015 Plein Air

Easton Quick Draw competition. http://www.yeliseyev.com

society in the region. Modern technology has produced many new "water media" products, referring to any medium that is water soluble, and there are many societies that present opportunities to exhibit work created with these new products. However, the Central Ohio Watercolor Society remains dedicated to its original purpose to promote and preserve the unique character of transparent watercolor. We have over 100 members and most of the members are award winning artists with regional and national reputations. More information can be found on our web site, www.centralohiowatercolorsociety.com. The society meets once a month, usually on the second Saturday of the month, at the McConnell Art Center, 777 Evening Street in Worthington, Ohio. We have 2 juried shows a year with cash prizes and many interesting programs during the year. You will meet many talented people that will share their love of the arts. We also have critiques and workshops that help us in our quest to become better artists. The dues are $30.00 a year.
