1. INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND

I) Central Government Employees Welfare H o u s i n g O rga n i s a t i o n ( CG E W H O ) , a n autonomous body of Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation, Govt. of India and registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860, specifically created for execution of housing projects for Central Government Employees, on No Profit No Loss, self financing basis throughout country. It has at present, to its credit, on-going housing schemes at Mohali (Phase II-615 DUs), Mohali, Sector-79 (SAS Nagar-316 DUs) and Greater Noida (2130 DUs) and further, 3061 dwelling units under various stages of planning. Thirty Projects at following locations have been completed.

ii) After successful completion of housing projects as mentioned above, CGEWHO is now launching its next housing scheme at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Besides the present scheme at Chennai, CGEWHO's forth-coming schemes may include Vishakhapatnam (Phase-I) and Meerut (Phase-II).

iii) This brochure, outlines details and 'Rules and Regulations' governing the Chennai (Phase III) Housing Scheme.

2. LOCATION

The plot admeasuring undivided share of approximately 12 acres out of total approx. 23.92 acres located on Poonamallee-Avadi Main Road, Parthipattu village. Distances of important place(s) by road are:
