Thrashers Exhibition Losses September 22, 2017

The Three Hills Thrashers started the exhibition season last weekend and

unfortunately, came out on the losing end of both games. On Saturday, the

hometown team travelled to Didsbury to take on the MountainView Colts. After a

scoreless first period, the Colts were able to score two goals in the second period

and two more in the final frame to skate away with a 4-0 victory. Sunday afternoon,

the Thrashers hosted the Red Deer Vipers at Centennial Place Arena. The Vipers

earned a 6-1 victory. Derek Samoleski scored the lone goal for Three Hills.

The Thrashers wrap up their exhibition season this coming Saturday night

(September 16) as they host the MountainView Colts at 8:00 pm at Centennial

Place Arena. The Heritage Junior B League regular season begins on Friday,

September 22.

The Thrashers have trimmed their roster to 26 players but Coach Ian Hall and his

staff will need to make a few final cuts before the season opener.
