  • For all the engineers in the world

who operate machines CELOS is created as an operating system that accelerates the process from the idea to the finished product.

It offers original high functionality through various applications for each process, the multi-touch operation panel that

boost outstanding usability, and security management with SMARTkey coming with the user authorization function.

CELOS is a future-oriented user interface that keeps evolving with customers.

    Hardware speci cations

+ Windows Embedded standard has been customized. The system does not need to be shut down, and is protected against sudden blackouts and daily shut down, making sure it can be stopped safely.

+ A high-speed flash storage (CFast) has been adopted. The hard disk is not used for the system.

+ A program storage area has been set aside as a standard feature for use by the operator, making a data server function unnecessary. Many programs can be stored in MAPPS, which is particularly useful for die-and-mold machining programs that require large storage capacity.

    Standard 100 MB / Option 6 GB

+ Programs in the program storage area can be edited, copied, deleted and renamed.(Programs up to 10 MB can be edited on the spot)

+ Meets safety standards in Europe and the US. CE marking and UL approved

    + Waterproofed in conformity with IP65 (IEC60529)

    + Withstands vibrations of 98 m/s2 (3,858.3 in./s2)

    MAPPS V

    MAPPS V is a smart, high-performance

    operating system attached to CELOS.

It enables operators to easily control

machine movements by touch operation only.

    High-Performance Operating System

    Lower Touch Panel Screen Layout

    Main Functions

+ The 6-window display provides access to a variety of information at the same time.

+The screen combinations can be freely customized.

+ Enables restrictions to be set on tool offset data input to prevent data input errors.

+ Executes simulations using 3D tool models to detect interference.

+ Monitors the cutting load to reduce tool breakages.

    Three methods for inputting program

+ Directly inputting NC codes using the software keyboard.

+ Inserting NC codes and predefined programs by following the guidance.

+ Conversational programming to define geometry and automatically generate the tool paths.

    + Real-time material removal

    + Simplified 3D model registration

    +Standard with ERGOline Touch

+ The status of chattering is detected using the acceleration sensor mounted on the spindle and displayed on the vibration gage.

+ If chatter is detected, the spindle speed is automatically adjusted to suppress it. The recommended spindle speed can be displayed on the screen, allowing the operator to select suitable cutting conditions.

Accurate model data of the machine, tools and workpieces are absolutely essential for interference checking. Machine model data for interference checking (see the model data table below) as well as standard tool model data are pre-installed on MAPPS as standard, enabling users to perform accurate interference checking without de ning the model data.

The interference checking function works properly when the model data completely matches the actual configuration of soft jaws, holders, turrets, spindles, tables tools, workpieces and fixtures. Customized design is required for special shape.
