What a TRIP!! It was great to get Dad into the NorthLiberty Zero-entry level swimming pool this morning, after being in his wheel chair and a two-person assist ayear ago September!

Doctors in Rochester at Mayo told him years ago tonot even think about getting married as he would neverlive past the age of 35. Doctors are very, very knowledge-able, but don’t know everything.

He was able to actually walk in the water — wish I hadthat picture, but I was in the water with him for this, anddidn’t ask anyone to shoot my camera.

Mom and Dad used to take swimming lessons at 9 atnight at the Forest City Swimming Pool, 10 miles away, when us five kids were young. He would jump off thehigh dive — they also took lessons in Mason City about20 miles from the farm by Garner. They have alwaysbeen adventuresome — Yeahhh!
