Pastoral Care & Visitation NewsWe would like to care for our church members in ev-ery walk of life. Rev. Phil (518-683-1250) and Pastor Bob (518) 409-4501 are just a phone call away. If you are in need of a pastoral call/visit, please call either one of us!

DevelopingYear-End 2018 Giving Appeal

As we approach year end, we find ourselves facing a projected operating deficit of nearly $10,000. We remain optimistic that our church family will unite to overcome this financial challenge. As you are able, we ask you to prayerfully consider how you can help as you move throughout this fall season. We have many families whose actual contributions have fallen below their estimate of giving. Would you consider giving an extra month in 2018? If just 50 families

contributed an extra $200, we would fully fund our ministries for 2018! We celebrate with much appreciation and thank you for the many ways you share your gifts through our church’s mission and ministry.

In addition, there are many opportunities for you to encourage community participation (invite your friends) in upcoming friendraisers and fundraisers:• Holiday Festival - Fri. Nov. 9th & Sat. Nov. 10th• Thanksmas Dinner - Sat. Dec. 1st• Spirited Players performances Dec. 8th & 9th• Christmas Worship Services

How have you experienced God’s grace? We are all encouraged to renew our covenant to faithfully participate in the ministries of the church through our prayers, our presence, our gifts and our service. Our God is a God of abundance. He is Lord, and we realize that we are merely stewards of the time, talent and treasure God has entrusted to us.

Growing in Faith! Deepening relationships! Serv-ing other from our Heart! I hope you are excited to look forward to the many possibilities that lie ahead in our journey of faith together in the coming months. On behalf of the finance committee, we want to ex-press our sincere attitude of gratitude for the bless-ings you share within our community of faith.

Committee MeetingsCharge Conference

On Sunday Nov. 18th at 11:30 our District Super-intendent will preside over the church’s Charge Conference. The charge conference is made up of the current church council. The conference will elect officers for the church committees based on recommendations from the nominations committee, will vote on the pastor’s compensation package, and submit required documents on behalf of the church to the district and conference.
