FAQs
• Are giving back PDUs required?
– No, this is an entirely optional way to earn PDUs
• Will I need to classify my existing PDUs to the Talent Triangle?
– We are working with REPs, chapters, and other education providers to align
PDUs to the Talent Triangle so that PMI can automatically map existing
Category A PDUs for you. There will be a process for you to align PDUs
previously earned via self-directed learning. Stay tuned for more info.
• How will working as a professional PDUs be claimed now?
– To simplify this, in the updated CCR program you will be able to claim 8 PDUs
once during your 3 year cycle.
• What if I am in the first year of my cycle and already earned many PDUs?
– We will be flexible with transitioning people to the new requirements so as to
not burden people with earning additional PDUs.
