• We are in need of 5-7 people to come with their own toolbox during school hours to assemble 11 auction items. Please contact Lori Robertson at [email protected].

• We are looking for a clean-up crew of 10-12 strong adults to move things after the auction. Please contact Carla Fowler at [email protected].

• We also need 6 people to assist with childcare during the auction. Please contact Nancy Peters at [email protected].

• CCA Christmas Concert: Is around the corner! The Elementary School show will be at 5:00pm and the Middle and High School show will be at 6:15pm in our new auditorium on Friday, December 7th. If you have a student in one or more of the shows, please see the corresponding ES, MS, or HS sections in the following pages of the newsletter to go over important details for your student!

• Items and Volunteers Needed for Christmas Concert: Looking for a way to make a big impact in the Performing Arts at CCA? We are in need of props by Dec. 4th, volunteers to build set items (times can be scheduled around your availability), and backstage volunteers during the show Friday, Dec. 7th from 5:45pm-8:30pm! • Field Trips and Updates from Mrs. Fischev:

Elementary School

Christmas Concert: We are so excited that the time is approaching for our first Christmas Concert in the new auditorium! The Elementary School show will begin at 5:00pm. Please bring your student to their classrooms at 4:30pm and be sure to have your student wear the following attire:

Girls- Christmas Dresses or Skirt with Button-up Long Sleeve Shirt. Must Also Wear Tights and Close-Toed Shoes.

Boys- Solid Button-up Long Sleeve Shirt (Red, Green, Silver, Gray, White, Blue) and Dark Pants (Black, Navy, or Charcoal). Ties and vests are optional.

Middle School

MS Thanksgiving Breakfast: Has been rescheduled for this Wednesday, November 28th at 9:30AM. If you will be bringing hot food please provide it as close to breakfast time as possible or if possible bring something to keep it warm until the breakfast. For details and questions please contact Mrs. Thompson at [email protected]. Thanks for your flexibility and support!

Parent Basketball Meeting: Coming up on Monday, December

3rd from 6:00pm-7:00pm for grades 7-12 on this year’s season. Come attend and ask questions!

MS/HS Christmas Concert: Middle School Chorus, Drama, and Dance families, we are so pleased to be working toward our first Arts showcase in the new auditorium! The MS/HS Concert will be on Friday, December 7th at 6:15pm. If your student is in the show, they will need to be dropped off in the gym at 5:45pm. An email has gone out from Mrs. Mitchell regarding specific attire for each class. Please be sure to double check to see what your student needs. Please contact her at [email protected] with any questions. There is also an opportunity to donate and volunteer to help with the Christmas Concert. Please consider signing up: http://signup.com/go/kQBZeXZ. This can count toward the Alliance but you do not have to be a part of the Alliance to sign up, and it’s open to the entire CCA community! Donations will need to be dropped off at the front

We are very grateful for all you do to help make events like this a success!

Missing/Incomplete Work Reminder: Please help your student review their account regularly to see if they have any assignments missing or marked as incomplete. This is a friendly reminder that any missing or incomplete work for middle school will be an automatic detention served during snack time until work is handed in and cleared by teacher.

High School

Missing/Incomplete Work Reminder: This is a friendly reminder that students should check their accounts regularly to see if they have any missing or incomplete assignments. Missing or incomplete work for high school will be an automatic detention served during snack time until work is handed in and cleared by teacher (for 11th and 12th grade this will be an automatic removal of privilege for that week).

Parents of Seniors: If your student is preparing for college and would like their transcript sent to a college, university, common application, or other prospect, please send the request directly to Mrs. Fischev. The request must be dated and be in print or email form. She will be happy to assist in getting these out at no cost to you. Please be aware that if CCA is on holiday these requests will not be completed until school reopens. Please contact Kristyn Fischev with any questions at: [email protected].

Dual Credit: Students will be informed of NHTI’s policies again this week regarding requirements of CCA students in meeting attendance for each of these courses to receive dual credit. An email will also be sent home to parents.
