PARENT TEACHER MEETING

Dear Parent,

1. Refer to the CBSE Circular No CBSEIDIR(ACAD)y2021, dated 05 Jun 2021 A PTM is organised wef 18 Jul 2021 to 20 Jul 2021 in virtual mode, the first PTM of this

AY 2021-2022.

2. Parents are cordially invited and requested to attend the meeting whole heartedly to discuss the following agenda points:

(a) CBSE had promulgated the new examination policy for the AY 2021-22. where the TERM 1 and TERM - 2 examinations.will be conducted by CBSE However, three periodic tests will also be conducted by the school wherein the marks obtained in Internal Periodic Examinations, will be uploaded jin the CBSE

Portal.

(b) After analysing the results of AY 2020-21, it is felt that extensive practices of question and answer with detail discussion of the unit/topics are required to

be done by the cadets to secure a good result in the upcoming examinations for which attending every class punctually and attentively will really uplift the

comprehensive understanding with doubt clarification and concept clearance in greater extent.

(c) Results of all classes are declared for the AY 2020-21 where it was found that the performance of the cadets is not up to the mark due to the less

attendance in class and lack of interest and sincerity to respond to the subject teachers whenever called for. It was also found that a few cadets were not attending the Class Tests which are conducted by the subject teachers time to time wherein these Formative Tests are very vital and important for cumulative

assessment and subject grasp of a cadet, so as to minimise the leaming gaps

(d) Amidst Lockdown due to the spread of second wave of CoVID 19, the

school had already planned extensively for the cadets to ensure the academic infrastructure within the campus. The teachers are trying and improving each day to make the Live Classes more interactive and fruitul utilising the best and latest technologies and teaching aids. In this New Normal the parents are also emphasised to understand the fact so as to ensure the

regular and daily attendance of the cadets in Live Classes which is highly imperative required to uplift the cognitive development of their wards.
