Preparation for Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary In Fatima, Our Lady said, “My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.” On this 100-year Anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions in Fatima, please join thousands of Faithful throughout our Diocese for 33 days of preparation prayer for Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary. Each day of prayer represents one year in the life of Christ. The prayers begin on February 20th and are done private-ly in our homes using the preparation book, which is available in English and Spanish. Please visit www.TexasToJesusThroughMary.org by January 25th to receive your FREE copy of the Montfort preparation prayer book. Your book will be mailed to you. Following, all are invited to collec-tively make or renew our consecration at a special Holy Mass on March 25th.
A Message From Bishop Vasquez and Auxiliary Bishop Garcia As we celebrate the birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ, we ask the Prince of Peace to end all war, vengeance and suffering, and help us become people of mercy, compassion and healing. Catholic Charities Corner Merry Christmas from Catholic Charities! This year, consider giving the gift of hope to families in need in Central Texas. Adopt a Seminarian Project St. Ann will once again support a young man studying to an-swer the call to the priesthood. His name is Mr. Isaac Oviedo and he is currently at Holy Trinity Seminary in Irving, Texas. “What does this mean? What do I do?” As in the past, there will be a sign-up sheet in the entryway for anyone who wishes to help and encourage this young man to answer his call. Some suggestions on how to do is: drop him a note of encouragement, pray for him, say the rosary for him, send him stamps and note cards/stationary to help him keep in touch with family as these young men studying to answer the call are away from family, and of course, a few dollars is always nice. Please consider helping to encourage Isaac to answer his call.
