Excell adhesion slides utilize the

traditional Superfrost tab, with

superior adhesion and wettability

properties. Our advanced adhesive

technology has been found to

perform extremely well in the

following applications:

Excell Adhesion Surface for

Heat Induced Epitope Retrieval

Excell slides were developed for

use in the HIER methods that

require high pH antigen retrieval

solutions, including edta. Formalin-

fixed paraffin embedded tissue

demonstrates more consistent

attachment when performing these

procedures on the Excell surface.

Staining

Excell slides have a uniform

hydrophilic surface that works

extremely well with aqueous

stains and reagents.

Plastic

Excell slides work well for both

Epon and Methyl Methacrylate

sections. Its uniform hydrophilic

surface allows the sections

to spread well during initial

attachment, and section adherence

is maintained throughout difficult
