What is CASRS?
• Confidential Aviation Safety Reporting System(CASRS), is a in-house supplementary information collecting system targeting at non-compulsory reports on hazards, threats or anything the reporter believes needs to be improved for the assurance of safety.
• CASRS relies on strict confidentiality, consistent encouragement, and commitment from the top of the management.

• CASRS: the '"ice breaker" to clear the communication barriers between the management and the front-line employees as it :
• helps employees to re-recognize the importance of their roles in the group work for the assurance of safety;
• encourages employees to participate in risk management and be active or even proactive for safety;
• cultivates a healthy reporting culture for the good of SMS.
