The Purple Shield policies have kept up with the cost of inflation in every single prearranged funeral we have arranged since that time. In fact, some families have even found that the interest accrued by these policies added up to be greater than the cost of their loved one’s funeral.

For your convenience, our local florists have incorporated their products directly within our web site. Simply make your selection from the obituary section and our site will automatically place your order with our local area florists. When ordering for the funeral or service, there's no need to specify the delivery deadline nor our funeral home address since our system already has this information. Delivery charges to our funeral home are also waived by the florists.

At Nairn-Chyz Funeral Home we display a wide variety of cloth covered, veneer, hardwood and metal caskets to meet most preferences and budgets. We proudly sell caskets manufactured and/ or distributed by two Canadian companies; Imperial Caskets of Winnipeg and Exquisite Enterprises of Melville, Saskatchewan.

We have sold products from these companies for many years and continue to be impressed by the quality and workmanship of both. In addition to displaying a wide variety of caskets from these companies, we also have catalogues from both with more choices available to your family.

At Nairn-Chyz Funeral Home, we believe that while funerals are in honour of someone who has passed away, and a way of marking their passing they are of greater importance to the living. It is possible to respect the wishes of the deceased for simplicity while still providing an option to honour this person and celebrate the life that they lived.
