Pollution From Power Plants & Automobiles

* Automobile exhaust contains unburned hydro-carbons, particulates, carbon dioxide, and

oxides of nitrogen and sulphur that contribute to acid rain, smog, and global warming.

Burning gas, coal, and oil puts into the

atmosphere carbon dioxide, carbon

monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sulfur

dioxide, and tiny solid particles.

Indoor Air Pollution* Indoor pollutants include tobacco smoke;
