Applique Preparation 1. Trace (44) Template As on the paper back of the fusible and
fuse to the back of Fabric C following manufacturer’s directions. Cut out the Template As and set aside.
2. Repeat Step 1 to fuse and cut out the required number of Template As from Fabric D, E, F, G, H, and J. Set aside.
Block Assembly
Block A Finishes 5-1/2”
1. Fold (1) Fabric K 6” square in quarters.
2. Using the fold lines to help guide you, arrange (4) Fabric H Template As on the Fabric K square as shown. Fuse in place.
3. Using matching thread, stitch along the edge (edge-stitch) each applique shape with a straight stitch, small zig-zag, blanket stitch, satin stitch or other decorative stitch. Make 20.

4. Repeat Steps 1 to 3 to arrange and fuse (3) Fabric C and (1) Fabric F Template As on (1) Fabric K 6” square.
5. Fuse the appliques and edge-stitch them using matching thread. Make 4.

Appliqueing the Corner and Side Setting Triangles 1. Arrange and fuse (1) Fabric C Template A on (1) K 5” triangle. Edge-
stich the applique. Make (4) Corner Triangles.
2. Arrange and fuse (1) Fabric C and (1) Fabric F Template A on (1) K 9-1/8” triangle. Edge-stitch the appliques. Make (4) Setting Triangle As.
3. Arrange and fuse (1) Fabric F and (1) Fabric C Template A on (1) K 9-1/8” triangle. Edge-stitch the appliques. Make (4) Setting Triangle Bs.
4. Arrange and fuse (2) Fabric F Template As on (1) K 9-1/8” triangle. Make (16) Setting Triangle Cs.

Quilt Assembly 1. Using the Quilt Assembly Diagram, arrange blocks in diagonal rows. Pay attention to the rotation of each block. Add the cor-
ner triangles and side setting triangles to each row as shown.
2. Sew the blocks in each row together, adding the side setting triangles and/or corner triangles after joining the blocks in each row.
3. Sew the rows together. Add the corner triangle in the lower right corner.
4. Sew the (6) Fabric K 3-1/2” x WOF Border 1 strips together end to end. Cut (2) Fabric K 3-1/2” x 54-1/2” strips. Sew to either side of quilt center.
5. Cut (2) Fabric K 3-1/2” x 60-1/2” strips and sew to the top and bottom of quilt center. Quilt should measure 60-1/2” x 60-1/2”.
6. Layer backing, batting, and the quilt top.
7. Baste, then quilt as desired. Bind with (7) Fabric H 2-1/4” x WOF strips.
