Curriculum

• Among our major requirements, students take• Introduction to Risk Management• Managing International Risk• Actuarial Analytics• Actuarial Practice: Property and Liability or Group & Health

• Actuarial Practice: Property and Liability is a writing-intensive course with a group project and case competition. Recent projects incorporated Schedule P analyses, and Innovation and Transformation in the insurance industry.

• Our faculty are active researchers in property and liability insurance, life and health insurance, insurance economics, behavioral economics, and risk theory.

• Research Seminar Series

• Students can work on research projects with faculty. Two recent projects (on ERM and on driverless technologies) have led to publications.
