Consider these
questions…
To complete your Aims & Goals for CAS
Adding CAS Experiences To add a new activity, click the Add CAS Experience button. Students typically add experiences directly via their own accounts.
When adding a new experience, students are prompted to indicate:
• Experience name and description
• Approach
• Start and end dates
• Supervisor information
• Strand
• Selected learning outcomes
When students request a supervisor review, an e-mail is sent to the supervisor. Students can also optionally choose experiences based on pre-existing groups in the dropdown menu.
When everything is complete, click Add CAS Experience. After an experience is added, it is automatically submitted for approval. Students are also prompted to write a narrative description of their Aims & Goals.

By Year 12 your CAS Portfolio should look something like this
Remember that your CAS portfolio needs to contain a reasonable balance of experiences between
Creativity, Activity & Service
You need to be engaged in CAS concurrently with your IB Diploma, which means from the start of Year 11 for at
least 18 months until mid-Term 3 of Year 12
We don’t count hours in CAS, however a good aim is to be involved in experiences for 2-3 hours each week during
term time to maintain a healthy BALANCED life!
