Withthiscourseweestablishamodernblendedlearningapproachbasedontraditio- nalphasesofclassroomexperiencewithdiscussions,teamwork,andhands-onworkonpracticalproblems.Moreover,coursematerialwillbeprovidedthroughacloudsolution,includingselectedvideosandothermaterialforbackgroundinformation.Asafurtheroption,communityexchangeandoff-classroomworkanddiscussionswillbeenabledthroughrespectivetools.
Toproofyourlearningsuccess,eachmodulewillbeconcludedwithanexaminordertoobtainthedegree“CASDigitalInnovationandBusinessTransformation”.Whileexamformatswillvary (e.g.orallyor inwriting), theyconsequently focuson theapplicationofthemodules'contentinreal-worldsettingsandcasestudies.Theresponsiblefacultymemberwilldeterminetheexamformatwithanaveragetimespentofapprox.1.5hourspermodule.
ThetransferprojectisanimportantcomponentoftheCASDigitalInnovationandBusinessTransformation.Itresultsinthetransferthesis,isguidedbyanintegratedframeofreferenceandcoachedbyindividualspecialists.Youwillreviewthetransfor-mationalfitnessofyourorganisationanddevelopasolutionforacurrentmanagementchallengeand/ordesignaninnovationprojectforbusinessmodels(ietransferofITinnovations,productandserviceinnovation,managementapproachestotransforma-tion,implementationofthetransformationproject,etc.).
ThebesttransferprojectworkwillbeawardedaspartoftheBusinessEngineeringForum,andwillbepublishedinthejournal"ElectronicMarkets".

Bytheinternationalaccreditations,theUniversityofSt.GallenanditsoutstandingpositioninEuropeinthemajorrankings(forexampleFinancialTimes,Handelsblatt,CHE)thisdegreegainsextraweight,becauseadegreecanbeonlyasgoodastheissueinginstitution.
Successful participants of the CASwill have the opportunity to enroll for the “ExecutiveMBAHSGinBusinessEngineering”programme(inGerman).PartoftheCASwillthenbecredited.PleasecontacttheAcademicDirectorfordetails.
Eachseminarislimitedto20availableseatsofferedannually.ParticipantsusuallycomefromdifferentcountriesinEurope,AmericaandAsiaandbringalongdiverseprofessionalbackgroundsfromseveralindustries.Livelyandinspiringdiscussionsortheexchangeofexperiencesbroadenthehorizonofeverybodyinthegroup.
TheprogrammewillbetaughtinEnglish.Applicantsshouldhaveadequatewrittenandorallanguageskills(minimum:CambridgeFirstCertificateorequivalent).
