TEAM STORY

After losing three close friends to cancer by the age of 21, I launched a non-profit while studying social work at the University of Texas. I witnessed the lack of essential and urgent care available to cancer patients and wanted to create a technology-enabled, but simple, system to provide that help immediately. I have transformed ColorCancer from a non-profit in my living room with a budget of $16,000 into a non-profit with a direct tangible program and a budget of $300,000, through grassroots marketing efforts.

I am inspired by the way Jillian and Lisa transformed their losses into a purpose. With nearly 20 years experience in large scale and small non-profits, I have been involved in fundraising support, event coordination and relationship building with key donors and groups. I am thrilled to be witnessing the impact ColorCancer is making every day.

JILLIAN Founder & Executive Director

DIANA Events & Outreach Coordinator

As a Clinical Social Worker, I have over 14 years of experience directing non-profit programs, both small ($100,000) and large ($1 million). I have created numerous direct service programs from the ground up, scaled to serve whole communities. Having lost my husband to brain cancer in 2011, I am grateful to put my expertise to a personal cause—revolutionizing the way non-profits deliver direct care to those impacted by cancer.
