What is CAPS?CAPS is the largest annual conference for Undergraduate Physicists on a national scale.
Starting out as a 40 Physics-student gathering at Heriot Watt University in 2008, CAPS has bloomed to 200+ students in 2015. Over 200 keen young physicists across the UK will gather at UCL in London for CAPS 2017.
This creates an unique opportunity for employers and industry representatives to interact with numerous students. This year’s CAPS will gather speakers from various fields to reach out and encourage students to broaden their horizons and expand the scope of their career options.

Due to it being a centre of productivity, London is the most easily accessible location in the country. This provides a grand networking platform for an overwhelming number of participants. The capital of the UK is home to globally renowned universi-ties such as UCL, KCL, and Imperial, all are within a 3 miles’ radius of one another.
London is truly an international titan on the science scene, which makes CAPS 2017 the perfect investment opportunity!
CAPS particularly attracts leaders of physics societies by hosting a forum exclusively for them before the conference.

Estimates of the impact of Research Council spending on the UK’s national output suggest that a cut of £1 billion in annual spending would lead to a fall in GDP of £10 billion (Haskel and Wallis, 2010).
