The sprawling gardens of the picturesque Sandringham near Stellenbosch is the perfect setting for the Cape Argus SportShow, South Africa’s first multi-sport festival featuring spectacular entertainment, sport clinics, extreme shows, appearances by sport celebrities and an extensive range of sport-related exhibits. This is the ideal setting for a day out with the family! With the promise of great weather at this time of year, great food and drinks on offer and an exciting entertainment programme with loads of fun for the whole family, the Cape Argus SportShow should not be missed!

Live at the Cape Argus SportShow, The Lords of Gravity, the world’s highest flying basketball dunk team, will wow

you with their insane acrobatics, spectacular teamwork and jaw-dropping dunks! All the way from Hungary, this team of slam-dunking gymnasts will elevate your pulse in record time and get you psyched to try out your own

slick acrobatic moves.

Free diving is the sport of holding your breath for as long, as far, or as deep as possible… without any scuba equipment. Based on age-old traditions of subsistence living off the sea, free diving today is a high-profile competitive sport with world records, championships and professional courses. South African Free dive record holder and founder of I AM WATER Ocean Conservation, Hanli Prinsloo and her team will be hosting exclusive in-water breath-hold coaching sessions and demonstrations.

The Cape Argus SportShow features the country’s most skilled riders on BMX bikes, MTB bikes, trail bikes, scooters, roller-blades and skateboards in spectacular, non-stop, action-packed shows that will thrill and amaze spectators. You will be keeping your feet firmly on level ground as the best riders and skaters in the industry strut their stuff in these thrilling events.

The Cape Argus SportShow welcomes Red Bull on board with one of the top Red Bull X-Fighters, ‘Sick Nick’ de Wit who will show his style in various action-packed performances. This is Nick at his best, with

top local and international riders in the FMX Freestyle shows.
