    When we are on a client’s site, we are fully compliant with all relevant safety protocols and SOPs.

    All L&F Transfer mechanical team members earn their place by bringing with them many years’ experience in OEM for major Chinese, European Australian and American bus and truck manufacturers. Added to this is their can-do attitude and an innovative, responsible approach to problem-solving.

    We employ the highest calibre of mechanical proficiency and keep our team up to date by investing heavily in OEM-delivered training.

    L&F Transfers are a major corporate supporter of the great work undertaken by the Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation (ALCCRF), run by the combined Australian Lions Clubs. The ALCCRF was officially created in 2009 and its focus is to increase survival rates of childhood cancer by supporting research efforts at specialist centres in Australia and around the world.

    L&F Transfer make commercial and in-kind donations on behalf of every passenger. Funds raised are also used to assist the families of affected children in coping with the changes and challenges they face.

    Your L&F Transfers crew operates on an ‘on-time’ policy. We reach your destination on time. For our contracted site runs, 15 minutes leeway is the limit, or it’s free.

    We are road transport provider that understands your time is critical to success and hold a fully equipped fleet and team on standby, in the unlikely event of a delay due to mechanical or technical issue.

    Working in remote locations across Queensland, we make it our priority to ensure every member of the team is self-sufficient and confident in the maintenance, diagnosis and repair across our whole range of modern, top-quality bus and truck fleet.

    L&F Transfers’ up-to-date, fully equipped workshops easily handle all our fleet. Our one-stop shops will bring in any specialist services needed to maximise efficiency and turnaround time.

    L&F Transfers workshops have:

    • Specialised OEM tooling and diagnostic equipment for most European and American bus and truck manufacturers

    • 6-post hoists capable of hoisting 3-axle vehicles

    • Tyre repair changing facilities

    • Washdown facilities

    Our fully equipped workshops in Blackwater and Charters Towers, plus our Field Service Units, supports our fleet over a wide area of Queensland, including the Bowen and Galilee Basins.

    In addition to our workshops, we have three fast-response mobile maintenance units, ready to service site or roadside breakdowns around Queensland 24hrs 7days a week, 365 days per year.

    The fleet mix aims to optimise flexibility and adaptability to the needs of mining industry passenger transport. Where possible, we build exclusivity into the contract for the vehicle’s working life, to ensure suitability and familiarity.

    To keep our fleet in mint condition, we aim to turn over every vehicle within 5 years of purchase.

    JOHN HOLLAND MINING

    Darren Cuthbertson, Project ManagerThe services that John Holland Mining has received from L&F Transfers varied from the transport of personnel on buses to and from work and also the transporting of John Holland employees to and from work functions and training.

    These services were crucial to John Holland, especially to help manage our fatigue management of employees on site. L&F Transfers led many initiatives that ensured quality was maintained and problem areas identified.

    For example, during the 2011/12 rain events, L&F Transfers transported operators rapidly to reduce the risk to John Holland employees.

    Most importantly, the unflappable approach, work ethic and determination of (L&F Transfers’ CEO) Lindsey Ward to help John Holland Mining was noticed by a wide audience within the John Holland organisation.

    In the time that they have been our preferred supplier, they have always gone above and beyond what is expected. The team of drivers are professional, polite and manage all employees very well. The security cameras in each of the buses have provided us with detailed information, which has proved to be invaluable when investigating alleged incidents.

    Community engagement with L&F has been second to none. Lindsey is always a keen partner in any community event that we host.
