For nearly 30 years we have exclusively represented Gold

Medal Safety Padding outside of the United States and

Canada. With many strong international relationships from

agents to end users, we can provide a solution for many

difficult situations.

Our solution focuses on the very important aspect of safety and

design but also has a strong component of value for money. In

over 30 years of representing Gold Medal Safety Padding we

have not had to carry out a major repair or refurbishment due

to intentional damage or wear and tear. For these types of

environments this is an outstanding result which our clients

OUR PRODUCTS

Norix furniture is the market leader in creating and manufacturing

humanizing products for challenging environments.

Norix has a unique range manufactured to the highest

quality and constructed to ensure it can stand up to the

• Attenda bedroom furniture – a rotationally molded

polyethylene outer layer with injected foam core

provides a highly resilient product which will not

fade, crack, sag, rust or delaminate.

• Hondo lounge style furniture – a modular system of

freestanding chairs is a compressible foam covered

in a seamless 6mm vinyl. This chair has proven to be

one of our most successful items and is used in many

health, disability, education and correctional

facilities.

• Toughcare series – is a rotationally molded

polyethylene product left hollow which allows the

client to ballast with dry sand to a weight deemed

safe for their facility.

• Harmony chairs – contemporary, commercial

furniture which has a range of fabric options,

provides amazing comfort but at its core is

constructed of heavy grade steel framing.

• Mattresses – a full range of health and institutional

sealed seam mattresses.

new construction. Manufactured from a urethane resin it

will never crack, sag, delaminate or deteriorate in any

way.

attaches to a wall, floor, door or other surface to provide

an adequate level of protection as determined by

professionals or carers.

Apex Padding System is a low-cost padding system for use where

resilience is not the determining requirement.

MANAGEMENT PROFILES

Martin Green

Managing Director

Martin established Queensland Locksmiths in 1987 and

built it into a leading security business that serviced many

major business and government clients throughout

Queensland. In 1992 he added the Gold Medal Safety

Padding business to the group. Prior to selling Queensland

Locksmiths in late 2006 Martin established CellCon Pty Ltd.

This business was a steel fabrication operation specialising

in the design, manufacture and installation of detention

doors, windows, cell fronts, walls and furniture for

correctional and police facilities. Subsequently this

business was sold in 2015 but having already identified

the intention of facilities to humanise their buildings Martin

established Gold Medal Safety Interiors, which continues

today with Gold Medal Safety Padding.

Martin has a strong sense of quality and a drive to ensure

his products outperform any competition. Over the years

he has built strong and loyal relationships with his many

clients, staff, suppliers and partners, who trust his

recommendations and ability to source hard-to-find

products.

Michele Longfield

General Manager

Michele is a natural organiser with strong business

management skills. Michele has qualifications in

bookkeeping and a degree in architectural studies with

extensive experience in office administration, budgets

and project management. Michele has experience in

the Construction Industry, managing her own commercial

glazing business and property portfolio for 11 years.

Michele enjoys working with designers, specifiers, facility

managers and cost consultants to help determine what

specialised products are the best fit for their project.
