PROFILEDon Stoddart
The rise of the broker-branded mortgage
Published monthly Canadian Mortgage Professional (CMP) is Canada’s leading independent magazine for mortgage brokers and professionals. Launched in 2005, its pages are dedicated to all the latest news, developments and changes that affect the industry along with dedicated sales and marketing features that enable Canadian mortgage brokers to further develop their businesses.
With over 10,000 copies distributed every month, CMP is the most effective way to reach professionals throughout Canada’s mortgage broking industry.
CMP has evolved into more than just a magazine. Each quarter, a separate CMP Guide publication now accompanies the magazine, with each taking an in-depth look at a pertinent broker-related topic. Previous CMP Guides have focused on insurance, commercial lending, sub-prime lending and more. Furthermore, CMP is closely associated with the hugely popular annual Mortgage Awards event, which in 2009 will cover 21 award categories and promises to attract more than 500 industry professionals from across the country.
And, in other industry firsts, later this year the magazine will launch a comprehensive mortgage broker service directory and wall planner.
