RESULT AISSCE 2019
Indeed a very proud moment for Cambridge School, Noida! For two consecutive years Cambridge
School, Noida has been in the news for securing All India rank in the AISSCE.
This year Aditi Singhal of the Humanities stream brought laurels to the school by securing the All
India 4th rank in the AISSCE -2019 (CBSE class XII) Board Examination. Aditi, the school topper
scored an aggregate of 99.2% having secured a perfect hundred in Political Science, Psychology
and History and 98 in Entrepreneurship and English.
Of the 143 students who appeared for the examination, 47 students scored an aggregate of more
than 90% while 137 students secured a first division. 30 students have secured a perfect hundred
in subjects like English, Psychology, Economics, Legal Studies, History, Political Science and
Biology.
The Principal, Mr. Soumen Chakraborty expressed his immense pleasure and congratulated the
students for their excellent performance and lauded the teachers for their hard work and sincerity.
He said that it would not have been possible without the cooperation of parents who are our
‘Partners in Progress’. He also took this opportunity to express his deep gratitude to the School
Management Committee for their unwavering support and guidance.

RESULTS AISSE 2019
Another year has gone past and it is time once again to celebrate the outstanding performance of
the students in the AISSE (Class X Board Exams) 2019 for achieving excellent results. Students
came out with flying colours and added to the glory of Cambridge School, Noida.
With an aggregate of 99 % Sanvi Verma is the School Topper in the AISSE 2019 having scored a
perfect 100 in Mathematics followed closely by Selina Varshney who with an aggregate of 98.8%
scored a perfect hundred in Science and Social Science.
It is heartening to note that 26 students have scored a perfect 100 in different subjects.
Of the 177 students who appeared for the AISSE 2019, 92 students scored an aggregate of more
than 90% while 176 were placed in the First Division.
Principal Soumen Chakraborty congratulated the students and urged them to achieve greater
feats in life. He lauded the efforts and sincerity of the teachers and thanked the parents for their
unstinted support. The Principal expressed his gratitude to the School Management Committee for
their unwavering guidance and support.
BOOK WEEK
To nurture the reading skill of the students and to open the doors of their imagination, Cambridge
School, Noida buzzed with activities and competitions as it celebrated the annual Book Week
from 1st May 2019 to 4th May 2019. The event called DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) was
held for the whole school where all read a book or a newspaper for 20 minutes. A Magic Show
was organised for the students of Classes VI and VII in the Roma Deb auditorium. The students
watched the show with great curiosity and were spellbound by the magic tricks. A workshop on
Best out of Waste saw students of Class VIII exhibiting their creative skills by making various
decorative items like photo frames, flower vase, greeting cards etc. from old newspapers, soft
cardboards, old birthday and wedding cards and coloured paper. A Book Cover Design
competition was organized for Class IX students who showed amazing artistic talent and made
beautiful book covers.

On the second day a plethora of activities were organised by the Hindi department. Lok Geet
Gayan, a competition on Indian Folk Songs was organised for the students of Class VI. It was a
group activity and the morning witnessed some beautiful renditions of Indian folksongs. Students
showcased their creativity and participated in large numbers in Kavya Lekhan, a Hindi poetry
writing competition organised for Class VIII students. A story writing competition Kahani Lekhan
was organised for the students of Class VII. A Hindi book review competition Pustak Samiksha
was organized for Class IX students wherein they had to review the book Godaan by Munshi
Premchand.
A fine and well-developed art of storytelling can cross barriers and reach its listeners anywhere. A
storytelling competition Speaking- World of Books was held for Class VI students. Two classic
short stories, A Devoted Friend by Oscar Wilde and The Emperor's New Suit by Hans Christian
Andersen were assigned to the children to review. An Extempore competition was held for Class
X students who found the topics very interesting and challenging and each one of them came up
with fascinating views and expressed their thoughts fluently and confidently. An Inter-section
Show and Tell competition was organised for the students of Class VII. Students were judged
on the basis of their presentation, expression and fluency, use of props and relevance to the topic.
The students of Class VIII participated enthusiastically in groups of 5 or 6 in the Radio Show on
topics based on the Environment and Sports.
The Book Week Celebrations culminated with the Valedictory Function which commenced with the
auspicious lighting of the lamp amidst chanting of Shlokas. The Chief Guest for the occasion was
Dr. Kalyan Banerjee, retired Chief Production Officer, NCERT. The function was graced by Dr
Kalyani Roy, Secretary, SAE, Mr Vikram Roy and other members of the Managing Committee.
The programme included a beautiful classical dance performance by the students invoking the
blessings of Lord Ganesha, and an English skit based on the short story The Girl Who Hated
Books. Prize winning entries which included Lok Geet from the lofty mountains of Uttrakhand,
Radio Show on environmental issues, and Hindi book review of Godaan were presented. The avid
readers and winners of various competitions were felicitated by the chief guest, Mr Kalyan
Banerjee in his address to the students stressed the importance of books and encouraged them to
read and write their own stories.

INAUGURATION OF ROBOTICS PROGRAMME Robotics programme has been introduced in Cambridge School, Noida as a part of Atal
Tinkering Laboratories or ATL initiative. This programme will be conducted by experts from
Avishkaar, a company dedicated to the popularization of Robotics education. A total of 23
students from Classes VI to IX have enrolled for the programme.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr Kalyani Roy, Manager, Cambridge School, Noida on 8th
May, 2019 at ATL, Cambridge School, Noida. The students were presented with a robotics kit
each which will help them design, construct, operate and use robots. The programme shall aim to
harness the power of thinking and innovation of our young students and tap their potential for
creative scientific endeavours. The occasion was also graced by Ms. Madhu Mehra, Col DD
Choudhury and Mr. Soumen Chakraborty, Principal Cambridge School, Noida.
INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMME
In continuation with our school’s endeavour to provide students a platform for international
exposure, a video conference was organized on the topic ‘Rights of Girls and Women’. The
students of Classes X, XI and XII interacted with students from Indonesia and India via video
conferencing on 30th April, 2019.
On 14th May 2019, students from Classes X, XI and XII interacted with students from Israel and
Ukraine via video conferencing. The video conference was a great learning experience for the
enthusiastic students as it provided them a platform for expressing their views and exchanging
ideas on their beliefs, culture and country.

INTERACT CLUB ACTIVITIES
WORKSHOP ON ORAL HYGIENE
A workshop on Oral Hygiene was conducted by the Interact Club of Cambridge School, Noida on
2ndMay, 2019 in the school library. Dr. Chaitanya Murti, having about 50 years of clinical
experience was the Resource Person. The Interact Club members of Classes XI and XII, the
cleaning staff members of the school along with Ms. Mamta Rishi and Ms. Kirti Sasan attended the
workshop.
Dr. Murti explained the harmful effects of chewing tobacco, smoking and drinking alcohol. He
explained how chewing tobacco can destroy the cell membrane of our mouth and cause severe
damage to it. He also mentioned the different oral diseases caused by such activities with the help
of pictures. Dr. Murti suggested ways to reduce smoking and tobacco chewing. This workshop
helped the school cleaning staff members to understand the ill effects of smoking and chewing
tobacco and also generated awareness amongst all.
SAY NO TO PLASTIC
On 9th May 2019 the Interact Club of Cambridge School Noida took up a project Say No to
Plastic. The aim of the project is

-: to encourage people to follow the three 'R's
-: to make our surrounding free of hazardous and plastic waste
The Interactors made posters and banners and went to different classes in the zero period
encouraging students to use paper and cloth bags rather than plastic bags. The project will
continue after the summer vacations.
GO GREEN
On 23rd May 2019 the Interact Club of Cambridge School, Noida under its Go Green Project
collected old newspapers and books from the school students. The Club collaborated with
Wasteroots an organization which collects old books and newspapers and in return for the total
amount that is collected gives plants and saplings. 185kgs of old newspapers and books were

collected and in turn the Interact Club received 18 plants for their donation. The Interactors
enjoyed doing this project and learnt the importance of flora for the existence of life on earth.
GEOGRAPHY EXHIBITION
The Geography Department of Cambridge School, Noida organized an exhibition on various topics
related to Geography in the Atal Tinkering Lab on 17th May, 2019.
The talent and creativity of the students was depicted through the medium of models they
prepared. The objective of the exhibition was to make learning interesting and enjoyable. The
students exuded confidence while explaining to the visitors the various projects and activities that
were on display. The exhibition was a great success.
Dr. Kalyani Roy and members of the management appreciated the efforts of the students and also
encouraged them. Students of sister schools along with their teachers attended the exhibition.
Learning by Doing
SCIENCE EXHIBITION
Cambridge School, Noida, in its endeavour to enhance scientific research and technological mind-
set amongst young learners, organised an Inter Cambridge Science Exhibition on 9th May, 2019.
The theme of the competition was Science for the People and People for the Science. Children
from Classes VI-VIII of Cambridge Group of schools participated enthusiastically and prepared
innovative models on interesting topics such as Bioengineering, Sustainability of Bio fuels, Role of
Science in Advanced Communication and Tangrams. The chief guest Dr. P.K. Mukherjee, retired
professor of Physics from Deshbandhu College gave away the prizes and addressed the

Noida thanked Dr. Kalyani Roy, Secretary, Society for the Advancement of Education for
encouraging and motivating the students and teachers alike. Mr. Vikram Roy, Col.DD Choudhary
and Principal Mr. Soumen Chakraborty graced the occasion and encouraged the students.
Young Scientists
MUSICAL CONCERT
To pay tribute to Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore, a musical concert was held on 30th May, 2019
at Cambridge School, Noida. Celebrating the occasion the staff members of Cambridge Group of
Schools and some ex-students came together and showcased their talent through songs and
dance performances. A befitting end to the concert was a song by one of the teachers who sang
We are going on a Summer Holiday …………It was attended by Dr. Kalyani Roy, Secretary,
SAE who encouraged the participants with her gracious presence.
WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS FOR STUDENTS
ANGER MANAGEMENT
A workshop on Anger Management was conducted by Mr. Shailesh on 2ndMay, 2019 at
Cambridge School, Noida. It was attended by the students of Classes VII A & B. The workshop
aimed at making students realize and think for themselves and reflect on what annoys them, how
they can respond and not react to a particular situation. Self-reflection was the tool which was
tested. The session was very interesting and informative.
Seminar in Progress
THEATRE IN EDUCATION: BIOLOGY
On 16th May, 2019, Ms. Kiran Sibal, along with five students of Class VIII, attended a Theatre in
Education at Cambridge School, Indirapuram, wherein students performed a play based on the
Biology topic, Crop Production and Management. The session was educative and interesting.

GREEN SCHOOL PROGRAMME
A workshop on Green School Programme was conducted by Centre of Science and
Environment on 23rd May, 2019 at Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri. It was attended by Ms. Kiran
Sibal, Ms. Supriya Gupta, Ms. Susmita Dey and Ms. Areeba Sundus along with five students of
Class VIII. The objective of the workshop was to sensitize students towards the environment and
promote environment management system that audits through students the consumption of
natural resources within school campuses thereby helping schools to become good environmental
managers by deploying pragmatic solutions to reduce wastage of precious resources. Overall the
workshop was extremely enlightening for both the teachers and students.
CAPACITY BUILDING FOR TEACHERS
WORKSHOP ON ACCOUNTANCY A Workshop on Accountancy regarding the latest changes in the syllabus and question paper
design introduced by CBSE was conducted by Dr. Khosla and Dr. T.S. Grewal on 4th May, 2019
at Mayoor School, Noida. The workshop was attended by Ms. Sumathy Raghunath from
Cambridge School, Noida. The latest changes in Accounting Standards, Syllabus and Question
Paper pattern was discussed at length which will be duly passed on to the faculty members of
Commerce department as well as to all the students. The workshop was very informative,
interactive and interesting.
SEMINAR: IS CHEMISTRY KILLING BIOLOGY?
The Chemistry Department of Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri conducted a seminar on 10th May,
2019 on the topic Is Chemistry Killing Biology? The objective of the seminar was to highlight the
erroneous human activities which have led to massive irrevocable loss to mankind.

The Resource Persons spoke on a variety of topics ranging from Drug Addiction and its side
effects to Nuclear Disasters and Use of Chemicals in Warfare. The seminar concluded on the note
that it is important to monitor human activities to prevent disasters and live in harmony with the
environment. The seminar was attended by Ms. Mamta Rishi, Ms. Ayesha Khan, Ms. Arpita Paul and Ms. Bindu
Muralidharan of Cambridge School, Noida.
STRESS MANAGEMENT
A workshop on Stress Management was conducted by Dr. Sanjeev P. Sahani on 15th May, 2019
at N.C Jindal Public School. It was attended by Ms. Madhumita Ray and Ms. Sarika Sharma from
Cambridge School, Noida. Dr. Sanjeev Sahani an expert in Behavioural Science explained the
terms Stress, Anxiety and Depression in great detail. He also explained that 0-7 years are the
formative years of a child during which values, morals, perceptions are inculcated. He elucidated
scientific terms like Electro Dermal, Electro Mygraphy, Temperature of Skin and Breathing Rate.
At the end of the session he explained four different brain waves i.e. Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta and
their significance. It was a very interesting and informative session.
CYBER SECURITY
A workshop on Cyber Security was conducted by the Computer Science department of Cambridge
School, Indirapuram on 21st May, 2019. It was attended by Ms. Preeti Khanna and two teachers
from the Junior wing of Cambridge School, Noida. The presentation highlighted about e-services,
e-connect, e-commerce which make our lives comfortable and how to keep information safe and
secure online.

SOLVING PROBLEMS USING CPA APPROACH
A Math workshop was conducted by Ms. Sheela Shankar & Ms. Padmini Ravi from Hey Math on
22nd and 23rd May 2019 at Cambridge School, Noida which was attended by the Maths Teachers
of Cambridge Group of Schools. Ms. Madhumita Ray (HOD Mathematics), Ms. Vasundhara
Kaushik, Mr. Zubair Ahmed and Mr. Rohit Dhingra from Cambridge School, Noida attended the
workshop.
The workshop aimed at problem solving (word problem) by using new methodology Model
Making. During the course of the workshop the resource persons explained the 4 components of
problem solving: Read and understand the question, Device a plan, Implementation and
Reflection. To enhance logical skill amongst the participants various pattern problems were
discussed using PPT, matchsticks and worksheets.
The participants were engaged in various interesting and innovative activities to understand
mathematical concepts thus making the workshop though challenging yet invigorating and
enjoyable.
E-LEARNING BY HEY MATH
Hey Math conducted a session on 24th May, 2019 at Cambridge School, Noida for the Principals,
Vice Principals, Headmistresses of Cambridge Group of Schools. The Resource Persons Ms.
Sheela Shankar and Ms. Padmini Ravi in their own inimitable way through presentations explained
the efficacy of E-learning Programme which enables schools to set up online classes with
individual accounts for the teachers and students. While the students can access the resources
independently, teachers can also create and issue assignments and adaptive quizzes from a
question bank of exam papers. It was an interesting and informative session.

CAREER GUIDANCE
Ms. Sunetra Banerjee (P.G.T Psychology) and Ms. Preeti Khanna (P.G.T Computer Science)
attended a two day Capacity Building Programme on 24th and 25th May, 2019 on Career
Guidance conducted by CBSE at D.P.S, Greater Noida. The resource person Ms. Pooja Jaitley, a
Clinical Psychologist explained that career guidance relates to the career development of students
and provides assistance to individuals in career planning, decision making and adjustments.
Ms. Jaitley conducted the sessions with the help of several interesting activities through which
she explored the skills, interest areas and traits of the participants which can help in choosing a
career or a stream. Ms. Jaitley expressed the need to form a career cell in every school to help
students get all the information they require and added that teachers should ensure that career
guidance is effectively imparted.
ECONOMICS SEMINARS 1. A seminar was organised on Issues in Economics related to the Curriculum for the Social
Science Faculty of Cambridge Group of Schools teaching Classes IX –XII on 24th May, 2019 at
Cambridge School, Noida. The Resource Person Mr. Amitabh Pandey an alumnus of St.
Stephen’s College and Delhi School of Economics discussed the issue of Poverty as a Challenge
for the Indian Economy. In this context he discussed the parameters to identify and evaluate
poverty with the help of Global Statistics. He explained how inequality (in all sense –income
inequality, disparity in capital distribution, regional disparity and gender inequality) affects poverty.
He did a comparative study of indices to elaborate Global Inequalities. It was a very informative
and engrossing session.
2. Another seminar was organised by Cambridge School, Noida on 29thMay, 2019 for the
Economics and Commerce Faculty of Cambridge Group of Schools on the topic Sustainable
Development, which is a part of Environmental Economics. Mr. Amitabh Pandey gave a brief
outline of how we can conserve energy by reducing the carbon-emitting energy resources. These
kinds of energy resources also add to Global Warming, which is becoming a serious concern for
the entire world. In the concluding session, he discussed about the causes of Global Warming, in
which population increase is a major factor. He also mentioned some studies about how
population can be controlled and its pros and cons.
The Seminar gave a lot of information and insight on the issue of Sustainable Development.
MATHS WORKSHOP
A Maths Workshop was held at Cambridge School Indirapuram on 27th May, 2019. The first
session was conducted by Mr. Soumen Chakraborty, Principal Cambridge School Noida on the
topic Maths in Daily Life. It was an enriching session highlighting how Maths can be correlated

with daily activities and how toys and other teaching aids can be used in classes to make teaching
learning process interesting. The second session was conducted by Ms. Ekta Singh, PGT
Cambridge School Greater Noida on the topic Area of circle for Class VII. The teachers were
engaged in a number of activities to find the area of a circle. It was an interactive session
focussing on activity based teaching.
WORKSHOP ON SOCIAL SCIENCE
A workshop on Social Science pedagogical methods was conducted by Cambridge School,
Noida on 27th May, 2019 in the Seminar room. It was attended by all the Social Science teachers
of Cambridge Group of Schools teaching Classes VI to VIII. This workshop catered to the
professional growth and development of Social Science teachers. Ms. Anita Shukla from
Cambridge School, Indirapuram spoke on the topic Interior of the Earth. She stressed on the
importance of developing the analytical and conceptual skills of the learners to enable them to
understand the environment, laying emphasis on inter relationship between the natural and social
environment. Ms. Surbhi of Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri enlightened the participants about the
Mughal Empire. Importance of sensitizing children towards social issues, developing skill of
observation was the crux of this presentation. The last topic for the day was Aurangzeb and the
Decline of the Mughal Empire which was presented by Mr. Jamal Ashraf of Cambridge School,
Noida. Overall it was an enriching session. It is sincerely believed that the outcome of these
workshops would be felt by teachers during their class room transactions by transforming their
enthusiasm into the realization of goals of education.
WORKSHOP – WRITING IN ENGLISH
A workshop on Writing in English was conducted by Mr. Shantam Goyal on 28th May, 2019 at
Cambridge School, New Friends Colony. It was attended by Ms. Jyoti Agarwal and Ms. Pragati
Sharma from Cambridge School, Noida. The workshop enabled the teachers to enhance their
creative writing skills. It also helped the teachers to identify common writing mistakes and improve
or refine their writing style.
WORKSHOP ON PSYCHOLOGY
As part of teachers training programme, a two day workshop for Psychology teachers, Special
Educators and Counsellors of Cambridge Group of Schools was held at Cambridge School, New
Friends Colony, on 29th May, 2019. Dr. Surabhika Maheshwri (Professor IP College) dealt with

topics like Psychology in Classrooms and Ethics in teaching which aimed at learning of
successful practices in teaching Psychology and Special Education
MATHEMATICS WORKSHOP
A workshop on Limits, Continuity, Differentiability and its application was conducted by Dr. Monika
Singh, Asstt Prof of Lady Sriram College on 28thMay, 2019 at Cambridge School, Indirapuram. All
teachers teaching Secondary and Senior Secondary classes of Cambridge Group of Schools
attended the workshop. Ms. Madhumita Ray Mr. Rohit Dhingra from Cambridge School, Noida
attended the same. Some of the topics of relation and function were discussed through questions,
animation, power point presentation and interaction.
ENGLISH TRAINING SESSION
Aiming to provide intense training on teaching the English language at middle school level a one
day workshop was held on 29 May 2019 at Cambridge School, Noida. The main objective of the
workshop was to improve the capability, capacity, productivity and performance of the teachers as
well as of the learners. The workshop was attended by the English Teachers of the Cambridge
Group of Schools. The resource persons were Ms.Latika Joshi (HOD, Department of English,
Cambridge School, Noida) and Ms. Nandita Sinha Roy (Vice Principal Academics, Cambridge
School, Noida)
The first resource person for the day was Ms. Latika Joshi and she conducted a session on the
short story 'Two Brothers' by Leo Tolstoy. She began the session with a discussion on the vision
and mission of the Cambridge schools. She laid emphasis on the core values promoted by
Cambridge schools like integrity, perseverance, empathy, excellence and courage and how it can
be incorporated in teaching English. Ms. Joshi gave some handouts to teachers on different
methodologies of teaching English followed by a copy of the Two Brothers. The teachers were
then asked to draft a lesson plan of the same keeping in mind the vision and mission of

Cambridge school, specific language objectives and the methodologies that have been discussed
in the session.
The second resource person for the day was Ms. Nandita Sinha Roy and she conducted a session
on the activities that can be conducted by the teachers to engage learners in the classroom. She
started with a simple activity in which the teachers had to draw objects on a sheet of paper with
the help of which others could guess their name. It was a 10 minutes activity and very helpful in
generating interest among the students in the class.
In another activity the teachers were asked to play a game of Name, Place, Animal, Thing and
then write a short story using the words they had written on the paper. The resource person then
explained how this activity can be used to teach different kinds of nouns to the learners and modify
them according to the level of the learners.
This was followed by other activities like My Uncle's Buffalo and Mint with a Hole to teach
adjectives and prepositions respectively. Other activities were also conducted through which the
teachers could teach idioms, proverbs and vocabulary to the students in a fun-filled way. Through
these activities, Ms. Nandita Sinha Roy tried to emphasize that by encouraging learners to get
physically and mentally involved in the learning process, the students can learn and retain
information better. It was a great learning experience as it helped the teachers to understand
learning can be a fun activity for the learners.
INCLUSION OF TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION A teachers training programme on Inclusion of Technology in Education and administration
was organised by Cambridge School Srinivaspuri on 30th June, 2019 which was attended by the
computer teachers of Cambridge Group of schools. The resource persons were from niit nguru.
They demonstrated software like One-note, office 365, kahoot, and cloud based services for data
management like IT wizard classic available through https://niitnguru.com
The idea of the workshop was to motivate teachers to use online software using cloud computing.
TRIPS AND EXCURSIONS
TRIP TO JIM CORBETT NATIONAL PARK & NAINITAL
Tours form an integral part of educative experience. Not only do the students discover new places
but they also learn self-reliance and how to undertake responsibilities. To gain such experience,

an excursion to the famous Jim Corbett National Park & Nainital was organized from 21st to 23rd
May, 2019 for Classes VI-VIII. After reaching the Resort De Coracao at Savaldey situated near the
National Park the students had a tasty lunch followed by a visit to the Garjia temple which is
uniquely positioned on top of a big rock in the middle of River Kosi. Next day the students visited
Jim Corbett Museum at Kaladhungi where they saw old pictures, paintings and the taxidermy
specimens of animals. At Nainital the students shopped at a local market and after lunch they
toured the Tibetan Market accompanied by their teachers. The highlight of the trip was the Jungle
safari. Travelling in a convoy of jeeps, the students were excited to see the verdant forests all
around. The excitement was palpable when the students spotted a herd of deer, baby elephants,
peacock and other wild animals. Overall, it was a beautiful excursion which helped the students
appreciate nature and the need to preserve our forests and animals.
TRIP TO CAMP PINE RIVIERA, PADAMPURI, NAINITAL
A trip was organized for the students of Class XI to Camp Pine Riviera, Nainital from 21st May
2019 to 24th May 2019. 33 students of Class XI along with four teachers Ms. Mamta Rishi, Ms.
Shruti Khatri, Mr. Praveen Nagar and Mr. Dhyanchand Bhatt attended the camp.
At the camp site students performed various activities like Flying Fox, Rappelling, Jumaring,
Tyrolean traverse, Kayaking, Commando obstacle course, River crossing and River fording. The
students were taken to a nearby village where they got to know how difficult life is for the people
living in the mountains. In the evenings cultural and team building programmes like skit
performance on social issues along with a bonfire was organised. The camp taught the students
how to deal with different challenges, adjust in all kinds of situations and acquire good leadership
skills.
TRIP TO CAMP MASHOBRA GREENS, SHIMLA A summer camp for the students of Class IX was organised by Cambridge School, Noida from 20th
May, 2019 to 24thMay, 2019 at Camp Mashobra Greens, Shimla. 51 students of Class IX

accompanied by 5 teachers went on this trip. Students and teachers enthusiastically participated
in team building and adventure activities like Valley Crossing, Flying Fox, Rappelling, Burma
Bridge, Commando Net, Double Trouble and Maggie Making Trek Activity.
Students were able to successfully complete the tasks assigned to them. These activities helped
the students to enhance communication skills, team work and motivated them to take on new
challenges in the future.
EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO PADAMPURI
An educational trip was organised by Leadership Campine Riviera, Padampuri, Nainital for 61
students of Class XII of Cambridge School, Noida from 28th to 31st May, 2019. Ms. Madhumita
Ray, Ms. Vasundhara, Mr. Rohit, Mr. Angad and Mr Puran Singh accompanied the group.
Students participated in various activities like Swimming in a Natural pool, Cliff jumping, Kayaking,
Flying fox, Rappelling, Forest trekking and Commando Challenge Course. These activities were
aimed at teaching teamwork, communication and leadership skills. Bonfire and cultural activities
were conducted in the evening. The students enjoyed the trip thoroughly and it was a great
learning experience for them.
