SSB INTERVIEW INSTRUCTIONS AT BHOPAL

IMA/TGC/UES/OTA/NCC/ALL OTHER TECHNICAL OR NONTECHNICALGRADUATE AND POST GRADUATE FOR MALE CANDIDATES-

(ARMY/NAVY/AIR FORCE)

1. If you are selected / nominated for grant of commission in the Indian Army , please read theinstructions in the following paragraphs.

2. You are required to report at MCO (on Platform number 1 ) BHOPAL RAILWAY STATION at1430 hours on the date of your reporting Please note, late comers will not be accepted for testing.Transport will be available at the station between between 1430 to 1500 hours.

3.  YOUR ROLL NO IS MENTIONED WITHIN BRACKETS AGAINST YOUR NAME IN YOURABOVE ADDRESS. Call Up and joining instructions are being dispatched to you, please read them

carefully and ensure compliance. You are liable to be returned without interview for non-compliance.The candidates are required to bring with them the under mentioned original educational certificatesalong with two attested photocopies of these documents while reporting for SSB Interview:-

(a) DATE OF BIRTH PROOF -You have to produce 10th standard Pass Certificate and MarksSheet by the Board of Secondary Education (in Original) as proof of your Date of Birth. (AdmitCard/ Transfer Certificate/ Identity Cards etc, will not be accepted for date of birth proof).

(b) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION PROOF -Independent Marks Sheets of all theyears/parts/semesters of the Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation/Diploma/Post GraduateDiploma and Degree or Provisional degree and or Certificates as per the advertisement of your Course.

(c) In case the result of final year/ Semester is awaited, then the candidate will bring a

certificate from the Principal/Head of Institution stating that the result of final year will be declaredby the due date as applicable in the advertisement. (registration certificate duly issued by bar counsel of india for jag entry only).

(c) IDENTITY PROOF - PLEASE BRING WITH YOU PAN CARD/DRIVINGLICENCE/PASSPORT/VOTER ID HALL TICKET OF LATEST EXAMINATION WITH YOURSIGNATURES, IDENTIFICATION MARK AND YOUR DATE OF BIRTH IN ORIGINAL FORVARIFYING YOUR IDENTITY. 

4. Essential Items. Please bring the following items while reporting for SSB Interview:-

(a) Twenty copies of the latest passport size unattested identical colored

photographs and four copies duly attested by a Gazetted Officer (in white shirt, not incoat).

(b) One lock for locking valuables in locker, one pair of white PT Shoes, two pair each of white socks, white T shirt and white shorts, two pair of convenient civil dresseswith black/brown shoes, one pair of uniform (for service personnel only), woolen clothesaccording to the prevailing season and adequate writing material.

(c) Risk certificate as enclosed duly signed by your parents.

5. Change of Centre/Date of Interview. No request for change of Centre will be entertained bythis Selection Centre. In case, you are unable to attend on the date and time given above and want tochange the date of interview, please intimate your inability to THIS CENTRE and NOT to ADG Recruiting

 Army HQ, New Delhi, through Fax/Speed Post immediately on receipt of the Call Up letter. Please ensure

that your request for change of date of interview should reach this Centre not later than the date of your reporting. Such requests received thereafter will not be accepted. If you are a local candidate of Bhopal,then intimate such fact to this Centre immediately, and await further instructions.

6. Medical Standards. Candidate reporting for his SSB interview should take care of the followingmedical points failing which he is liable for rejection:-

(a) Ideal Age, Height and Weight (Male). It should be within permissible limits (+ or –10%) of the ideal weight as per correlation table between age, height and average weight givenbelow. In recording fraction lower than 0.5 Kg will be noted and 0.5 Kg above will be recorded as1 Kg :-

(b) No wax in the ears.

(c) No skin disease.

(d) Minimum 14 dental points.

(e) No vision defect.

(f) No hernia operation in past one year.

(g) No hydrocele.

7. Cell Phones. Cell phones are strictly prohibited inside the Selection Centre. Do not bring anycell phones.

8. Travelling Allowance. Where authorized second-class mail/express train fare includingreservation charges by the shortest route from home station to Bhopal will be paid and bus fare fromhome station to the nearest railway station, if not connected by rail. For return journey, cash asadmissible will be paid. Reimbursement of fare will be on production of rail and bus ticket/receipt.

Please note that NO reimbursement of fare will be permitted in case you are not in possession of original educational certificates or not in possession of original tickets or withdraw from testingon your own accord or any other valid reason.

9. Change of Address. Change of address, if any, after submission of application will be intimatedto the Additional Directorate General of Recruiting (NDA entry), AG’s Branch, Army HQ, West Block-III, RK Puram, New Delhi-110066 and SELECTION CENTRE CENTRAL, BHOPAL.

10. Compensation. Government is not responsible for any compensation to   the candidate or to hisguardians/heirs for injuries sustained by him during the period of testing. However, facilities exist toattend to the candidates falling sick or sustaining injuries during their stay at this Centre.

11. Correspondence. While corresponding with this Centre or ADG Rtg, Army HQ, please mentionyour Roll No, Name, Call Up letter No & date, Type of Entry, Course Serial Number, Batch No, Chest No(if appeared in the test earlier) and your full Postal Address, otherwise, no action will be taken on your 

application.

12. Bedding is provided by this Centre. Do not bring bedding.

13. Lunch on Arrival Day. Candidates are advised to have their meals before reporting to thisCentre, as there is no provision for lunch on the day of arrival.

Service Personnel Only

14. In case you are already serving in the Army/Navy/Air Force, this letter will be put up to your Officer Commanding and your move in connection with this interview will be treated as Temporary Dutyunder the provision of TR 192 (f) (ii), as such you will bring a return journey railway warrant for your 

 journey. You are also required to bring a set of uniform.

15. Instructions for Officer Commanding Unit:-

(a) In case the candidate has been posted out of your unit, please forward this letter to hispresent unit immediately under intimation to this Centre.

(b) Copies of Movement Order and DO Part II will not be endorsed to this Centre. SeparateMovement Orders will be issued to every individual required to report to this Centre.

(c) No Arms and Amn will be carried by the Candidate reporting to this Centre.

(d) In case the individual cannot present himself for interview, this Centre should be informedimmediately by speed post / FAX on the address mentioned above.

(e) Candidate will be in possession of free return journey railway warrant, Identity Card,Health Record Card, Educational Certificates and items as mentioned in Para 3 & 4 above .

(f) Apprise this Selection Centre immediately, in case you are from a local unit of Bhopal.
