Learn to Swim

Lessons are commencing this week. Could the parents/carers

of all children attending these vitally important lessons please

ensure that your child brings their bag of swimming gear with

them each day? An extra reminder also to make sure all of

your child's belongings are labelled with their name.

Thanking you for your assistance in this matter.

Mrs Jenny Tiffin Learn to Swim Coordinator

Vegie Patch News

As you may have worked out from the canteen news, our

lovely new white chickens have started laying cute little white

eggs. Belinda is using them for all sorts of goodies in the

canteen.

Last week was our last PACAS lesson and I would like to

acknowledge the efforts of all the children who have helped me

in the gardens during the year. I'm sure you would agree that

LPS has the best grounds of any school in Leeton!

I would also like to thank the P&C for their ongoing financial

support for our gardening projects. Plants, fertilizer, mulch and

wood chip are expensive ongoing costs.

A last thank you to Mrs Gill for budgeting for our huge water

bill. The place would be a dust bowl without this vital, yet once

again expensive resource.

Happy gardening through the heat!

Mrs Jenny Tiffin LPS Garden Coordinator

Book Club

A big thank you to everyone who supported our LPS Book Fair

over the past few weeks. Through our commission we will

receive over $1000 towards providing further resources for our

school!!

This week your child will receive the final Book Club for the

year. There are some great books advertised in this issue

which would provide quality reading over the school holidays!

After some Christmas presents? We have that covered with

Book Club! Simply order using parent name and contact phone

number and will ring you when your order has arrived….your

child will never know!

All orders due back to school Thursday 20th

November,

2014.

Thank you for your continued support!

Mrs Pearce

Book Club Coordinator
