Trinity will be producing a new pictorial directory with Lifetouch. Our photo dates are: 2:00-9:00 Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 (for snowbirds and anyone who cannot make rest of photography dates) 2:00-9:00 Friday & 9:00-4:00 Saturday, January 2-3, 2015 2:00-9:00 Tuesday - Friday & 9:00-4:00 Saturday, January 13-17, 2015 2:00-9:00 Tuesday - Friday & 9:00-4:00 Saturday, January 20-24, 2015 Remember our directory won’t be complete without you! Look for more information to come. You will receive a complimentary portrait session, 8x10 portrait, and church directory for participating. If you would like to bring in a personal item to photograph with you, such as sporting equipment, an instrument, a medal, jewelry, a Bible or pet, that is encouraged and will be incorporated into your portrait session. You can sign up early online at trinityfaribault.org available now for early registration. (You will receive a link to a $10 coupon, with your reminder email, by signing up this way). Should you know anyone that has or would like to attend our church, every family is welcome to invite others at this special time and they too would receive the benefits of the portrait session. Please note: If you do NOT have a computer, but would like to register now, please call the church office at 331-6579. The option to sign up before/after worship services at Trinity will begin Nov. 15/16, 2014. If You Like, Have Your Church Directory Photos Taken Early: There is a special date, Wednesday November 12, for Trinity snowbirds to have their new church directory photos taken. But there are extra time slots available on that day for others, too. If it's more convenient to have your pho-tos taken in November instead of in January or to just help the Trinity coordinators out by filling the extra slots so there's less to do in January, please contact the church of-fice. We will then call you back to set up a time between 2:00 and 9:00 p.m. on that November 12 date.

PICTURES NEEDED!!! We are beginning work on our 2015 Picture Directory and are in need of current photographs of church ac-tivities, Bible Study groups, Action Teams, etc. Please help create our new directory by submitting pictures to the church office.

We will have Game Night in the Fellowship Hall on Satur-day, November 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Please come join us! Besides having a lot of fun, we will have a variety of games and some treats as well. Child care is available (children are also invited to join in the games) for only $3 per child. If you are interested in child care please RSVP to 332-9741 or [email protected] anyone else can just show up and join in the fun.

Angel Tree Trinity will once again sponsor the Angel Tree Program. We are asking

the congregation for names of family, neighbors or someone you may know that could use a boost this Christmas season. Please submit (their names, ages, male or female, and size) by Sunday, November 9. Please complete the request slips and place them in the decorated box on the Information Center in the narthex. We are excited about sharing Christ’s love this Christmas as we bless someone less fortunate with a gift.

Once again, Marian Hagel is collecting contributions for Feed My Starving Children, a Minnesota based Christian non-profit food distributor with partners operating in the Philip-pines. Containers which hold $14.00 in quarters will be avail-able at the Information Center. Her son and daughter-in-law have volunteered for the Shepherd of the Hills Foundation which offers short- and long-term care for children in the Philippines and helps in the distribution of the much needed food supplies.

Remember the needs of others dur-ing this time of year by giving to the Peace-Trinity Food Shelf. Items may be placed in the collection baskets by the narthex doors and will be brought

to Peace for distribution. Donations of money or Scrip are also appreciated to help in the purchase of perishable items. Checks can be made out to the Peace Food Shelf.

Medical supplies and equipment are available for Trinity members’ use. Recently donated items include wheelchair, shower chair, walker, and cane. Call the church office or Norene Hansen for details.

Consecration Stewardship Weekend Summary We were reminded last weekend that we should view stew-ardship as a 24 hour/day activity. Dr. Nadasdy’s sermon mes-sage “Graceful Stewardship,” was from John 1:16, “And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.” Dr. Na-dasdy, MN South LCMS District President, helped us to see that God pours out upon us His grace upon grace upon grace 24 hours a day. He also pointed out what graceful giving should look like. It should be: 1. Humble, given in humility; 2. Intentional, planned and God pleasing; 3. From the top, not the leftovers; 4. Generous, even sacrificial; 5. With amaze-ment at what God does with our gifts. Special thanks to all the members who joined in the services, filled out Estimate of Giving Cards, and joined in the Celebra-tion Luncheons. Thanks also to the staff and pastors, the Stew-ardship Team, the announcers and anyone who made the Con-secration Stewardship Weekend meaningful and God pleasing. Preliminary results are as follows: 132 commitments made compared to 181 last year. Those making commitments in-creased their giving an average of 7.5%! Total amount com-mitted for 2015 was $393,273.00 compared to $547,677.00 in 2014. More complete information will be presented at the up-coming Voters’ Forum and also in the December newsletter. Those who still want to fill out Estimate of Giving Cards are encouraged to do so. Extra cards are available at the informa-tion center.

Joel Witt will no longer be able to serve as the Youth Leader at Trinity. If you have a heart for young people, and would like to serve as our new Youth Director, please contact Bill Kirkpatrick, 331-6579.

Bell Ringers are needed for Trinity’s Salva-tion Army volunteer day on December 6. Trin-ity members are again scheduled to conduct the bell ringing at Faribault locations. Please sign up for a time slot in the volunteer book at the Information Center.

The Mission Committee is still collecting aluminum cans. Please deposit your cans in the trailer in Trinity’s west park-ing lot. Thank you!
