4.2.1 If th e vehicle is reta ined beyond 20.00 hrs.and stays up to 23 hrs., Rs. 100/ - will be paj(j as

night halt charge.

13. Taxi Drill er' s Responslblllty·

1, Driver of the veh icle shall possess 0111 documents as re-quired by RTO In the vehicles such

as RC boo k, Insurance certfficate, PUC Certifi cate, Taxi permi t. valid driVIng uceese wilh

badge and TOM D off icials rese rve t"'l' right to verif y the same at any time during U'SC

dutY.

2. TM taxi driver shall ensure that the entries in the log/ trip sheets be written legibly by

tne tall i users. Name, Staff code NO. of the person uslns the vehicle, purpose, start ins

ar'ld closing time & xrn . should be wr itt en again st their signature. Incomplete and

illegible log sheets wi ll not be enterta ined for payment .

it should be recorded in the log sheet promptl v.

7. The taxi driver shall follo w the rules and regulations of our Departmen t . Our security

personnellCISF) have the rignl to inspeCt the vehicles & t he ta)(i drivers posted 10 LPSC

at any t ime during the dut-i period inside ISAO Campus.

8 The tiI)(i driver shall compulsorily wur neat & clean uniform (Normally White shir l and

black pants) while on LPSC duty as per the existin g MV act. No e:tl ra payment w ill be

made t o Contractor by l PSCf or providing uniforms to drivers deployed for LF'SCd uty.

14.0 Inti mat ion 01Vehicle Requirement :

Normally LPSC will inform rbe next day's requirement on previou s wor king day Itself, but in

case 01 emergency, the contracto r shall supply ....ehide s within one hour as and when

required ow r tEo lephone/e malL

15.0 Termi nat ion 01Conh act :

1 lPSCreserves l he risht to l erminate the contr act , if the pprform ancp of the COnt ractor

or his employees Is found to be unsetbt acto-v during il s cu-ren cv by giving one month

not ice in writing.

2 LP5C atso reserves the right 10 terminate the contract w ithout oouce In the follow ing

a) Cont ractor's fail ure to produce vehleles for inspection along wi th eecesserv

documents wi thin 14 days from the date of award of the comract .

b) Contractor fails frequently to provide venrcre within the stipu lated t ime f rom the

intimation of vehicle required on dally! monlhl y basis.

servic es as per terms and condit ions specified

d) FrequE'nt stoppage of vehicles mtd-wa v due to lack of fuel. accident. misbehavior,

16. Payment :

For monthly basis bills. part ies shall submit the bills for any calendar mont h, t.e. f rom first

day of a mont h to last day of a month within 10 days from that month to TOM O along wi th

completely (illed log sheets duly signed by tne offKers who have used the vehicles. Bills

submitt ed after 15 days will not be considered norm ally.

The bills wi ll be verified by operation-In-charge, TOMO and approved by Head, TOM O will

be Iorwa rd ed to the Accou nts Offi cer. LPSC for arra nging payment wh ich will be made

wil hin 15 days from the receipt of bill s in TOM O.

LPSC will not bear any cost towar ds operation, repair, maintena nce. Iue t and oil, servlclng,

wages of dr ivE'rs, garalle fees. insurance. road tax etc . exce pt the log sheets for recording

the duty detai ls. The completE'liability in such cases will be that of the taxi contractor.

11 . Servlce TOIII(/ GST

GST/SE'rvice tax wi ll be paid extra as per the Rules in force only if HIe contractor is a

registered Person/ Firm with the Assistant commissioner of centr al excise. serv ice tex cell.

Thiruvananthapuram and copy of RE'Ristrat ion cert if icate is to be prod uced as deemed. The

department shall reimburse th e same at ectuats against production of docum ernerv

evidence.

19. Suble t Of Contra ct:

Contractor shall not sublet. transfer or assign the cont ract or any part th ereof wit hout our

pri or wrmen approval.

20. Fall Clause:

The unit hire prices for providinll: vehicles under the rate contract shall in no event exceed

the rcwest prices at which til e contracto r provides vehic les of identical specifkauon to any

o ther customer dur ing the rate contr act period. If at any lim e during t he currency of th is

rate contract , you reduce hire charges to any other clJstomer(s). the same shall be passed

on 10 us and t he hire charges shall stand co rr~pond in&ly reduced.

All disputes, diff erences, claims and demands arIsing under or pursuant to this agreement shall be referred to Arbitrat ion of a Sole Arbitrato r to be appointe d by Director, LPsC. 1. Normal duty hour is from 06.45 hrs. to 19,00 nrs. According to the requirement, races will have to perform duties before & aft er the normal duty hours and on holidays as

required by the authorized person of the concerned division.

2. The Contact person or his authorized representati ve's instructions have to be adhered

striCily.

3. The contractor shall make his own arrangement for transport , seretv, medical, EPF and

other amenities for him & his personnel deputed to LPSC.

by us tothe successful bidders.

8. LPSC reserves the right to split the vehicle requirement and choose anyone or more

number of firms / parties in the contract for assigning/hiring of taxles on monthly rates

basedon the performance/ requirement.
