Inspiring girls to play a role in science, technology, engineering and math
Girls age 11 to 15 will become scientists for a day and usethe properties of light to create emitting or light sensing toolsthat they will integrate into a light show for their parents toenjoy at the end of the program.
Parents will learn how their daughters can pursue careers inscience and engineering, how they will change the world inthese fields, what they can do in the early years to makecollege entrance easier in science or engineering programs.
Connected for the long term - This exposure won’t stop atthe end of the day. For girls and parents interested, the IEEEBuenaventura Section will facilitate conversations with collegestudents in engineering, professors in engineering, and we willinvite you to all the free events and talks organized by us sothat Engineering becomes your destiny.
