Currently we have 96 Kin- dergarten children enrolled for 2015. Please notify the office via email if you are intending to leave the school in 2015. Building Plan Last Friday we had a visit from the Met North Aborigi- nal Education Consultative Group to gain input on the plans being drawn up for the new school. They were very impressed with the design and the utilisation of the bushland space. It was a tremendous experience for the architects and the planning committee to hear ideas from our local aboriginal community. They will be continually consulted in the development of the plan for our new school. School Plan 2015-2018 As a school we are currently writing our future direc- tions and goals for the next 3 years. Even though there will be a lot of changes physically to the school over the next few years it is also important that we focus on the future of education and provide a school that accommodates the change in learning of our cur- rent and future students. I have attached a link to a survey that allows you to comment on the directions of the school for the next few years. Please feel free to add your comments and recommendations for our school using the link below. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/8F773MS PSSA Grand Final Tomorrow our junior boys and senior girls eagle tag teams will be playing in the grand final at Millers Re- serve at 12.30pm. We wish them the best of luck and wel- come any supporters to help cheer them on! A special thank you to all our PSSA coaches Mrs Cash, Mr Dylan, Mrs Ash- ton, Mrs Learmont and Mrs Ward for their commitment to the teams. Sick Bay Overload We have had a lot of children unwell at school over the past couple of weeks, some of who have come to school sick. The best place for children when they are not well is at home and in bed. Please keep your children home if they are not well. WORLD BIGGEST ARTWORK

On Wednesday Ben Meredith and Maru Jedeloo Conroy of 2M, went to Warringah Mall to present their whole class artwork as part of the ‘World Biggest Art-work’ classroom challenge. The artwork is titled ‘Owl Spectacular Sydney’. We would like to invite you all to head to the Mall and check it out. Remembrance Day Service

On Tuesday 11 November all year 3 to 6 students will be attending the Remembrance Day Service at Manly Dam. Every year we are invited and look forward to this very special service. We will have an earlier morning tea and walk to the Dam to be seated at 10:30am in preparation for a 10:45am start. Our School Captain, Alex Coyle will be presenting a speech and we look forward to listening and commemorating our Australian soldiers past and present.

Just bring them to the front office to put in the ‘tombola’ box with your child/s name & class attached. Thanks so much to the many gener-ous families who have donated so far.

Here’s how to make a Tombola: fill a see-through con-tainer of any size (e.g. glass jar, plastic cup) with a mixture of lollies and child-friendly knick knacks (e.g., balloons, erasers, pens & pencils, bubble mix, little notepads, stick-ers, elastics, hair clips, wrapped sweets, small bouncy balls, party favours). Attach a lid (material, cling wrap, con-tact, brown paper, wrapping paper & rubber bands/ribbon) and you’re done!
