LAND USE CONSIDERATIONS FOR BURTON STATION VILLAGE AND OTHER MIXED USE AREAS
Staff recommends a mixed use designation with homes, shops, and work places blended either within the same building and/or within carefully designed single use buildings. These buildings are to be architecturally integrated, encourage pedestrian activity, contain common outdoor spaces and invoke a sense of place.
The maximum height of mixed use buildings within Burton Station should range from three to five stories in height.
The revised plan document will contain detailed mixed use guidelines specific to Burton Station.
