The Series 2PV is equipped withelectronic ignition (EI) for allnatural and LP gas models toincrease fuel efficiency. Redundant Gas Valve The control arrangement providesfor a 90-second try for pilotignition. If after that length of timethe pilot is not established, theentire system goes to safetyshutdown. After five minutes, theunit will retry for ignition andcontinue to do so on a programmedbasis until a pilot is established orthe thermostat is set below roomtemperature.

1. Ratings shown are for installations at sea level and elevations up to 2,000 feet. For elevations above 2,000 feet, ratings shouldbe reduced at the rate of four percent (4%) for each 1,000 feet above sea level.

2. Net I=B=R ratings shown are based on normal I=B=R piping and pick-up allowance of 1.15. Consult Burnham for installationshaving unusual piping and pick-up requirements such as intermittent system of operation, extensive piping systems, etc.

Venting System:

The 2PV is designed to vent directly through the wall using only AL29-4C stainless steel piping - Burnham's approved ventsystem.

Wall Thimble (sold separately) - Venting through a combustible wall requires a single wall thimble for a 203PV or 204PV, and adouble wall thimble for a 205PV or 206PV.

Vent pipe length is in equivalent feet. Elbows are 5 equivalent feet which must be subtracted from the total length to determinemaximum length of straight pipe.
