NOTICE : It’s time again for Father Tom’s visit home to Ireland: July 29th thru August 25th. We wish
him God’s blessings for a safe and a wonderful trip, lots of his favorite Gaelic sports and a good rest!
We are also most grateful and welcome Father John Houlihan who will take over while he is

Father Tom is on vacation so there will be no weekday masses until he
returns but when he does: Meet us weekdays for Morning Mass 9:00 am
Start each weekday off with Prayer, Eucharist, Scripture, Laughter, and
lots of hugs. People meet afterward for: book club, healing prayer, Cum
Christo grouping, Divine Office, and Spiritual guidance. Join any one of
these, or bring along your own group for a chance to join in the many gifts
St. Anthony offers. Parish enrollment sheets at the Church entrance, or

STEP II WEEKEND PLANNED
The Co-Ed Weekend will be Sept. 6th- 9th, 2012. Attend a Step
ll weekend experience for post Cum Christo folks: Unlike the Cum
Christo, this retreat is for both men and women and can be attended as
often as desired. It’s intent is to strengthen the faith of the participant, as
well as support, nurture and renew a desire to work as laity in the
Catholic Church. The weekend will be
held at St. Anthony’s Parish Center in Laurel.

"Meet Our Seminarians" On SUNDAY August 5th
Father Leo McDowell, Diocesan Vocation Director, invites all area
Catholics to come meet our five diocesan seminarians at 4 p.m., Sunday,
August 5th at the Knights of Columbus hall located at 2216 Grand
Avenue. Refreshments will be served. There is no charge to attend. This
is your opportunity to meet the men that will be serving us as priests for
many years to come. Please come to show your support for these men.
The event is sponsored by area Knights of Columbus councils.
Plan to join them after 8:45 mass on Sunday and
help them celebrate. Refreshments will be served
by the St. Louise council.

month. The KC’s are sponsoring two $500 Scholarships in the name of
