Education imparts not just knowledge but a sense of perception, patience and most importantly nurtures an individual's evolution for the future. The key factor 'Knowledge' is at the core of all development efforts in advancing economic and social well being in an emerging nation like India. The need of the hour is to lay a strong foundation and evolve innovative processes that will prepare the students to be able to excel in the realm of their chosen field.

The Om Welfare Society was founded in the year 2007. As a responsible citizens, founders of the society, right from the beginning firmly believed that quality education will result in the overall growth of the region. The small but visionary efforts of the founders have now turned this area into Oasis of learning spread over 30 acres.

To Achieve the objective of providing quality technical Education in the region, the society has established OM Group of Institutions (OGI) in 2008, OGI has grown to become one of the best education groups in Haryana and has built a reputation for Excellence in the Professional Education. A brainchild of renowned doctor and educationist, Dr. Punit Goyal, Chairman, Om Group of Institutions, now encompass a group of vibrant, world class institutions. The leadership role that Om group of Institutions continues to play stems primarily from our inherent belief that in order to impact and deliver quality education, an institution needs to differentiate itself through innovation. OGI is an excellent integrated educational hub blended with a strong intent of matching the changing paradigms of the education fraternity globally.

The OGI comprises of different institutes, Om Institute of Technology and Management started in the year 2008 on the educational horizon of city, Hisar. Om Institute of Architecture & Design was established in the year 2010. Om Institute of Polytechnic was established in the year 2011 and Om Industrial Training Institute (ITI) was established in 2015.

A remarkable milestone has been achieved by OGI merely through top-notch infrastructure, learning resources, world-class faculty and also through an unflinching commitment to help the students acquire knowledge in keeping with the highly competitive demands of today's business and industry. Primary duty of Om Group of Institutions is to give direction to society and to channelize the energies of youth for productive and creative purposes. This has to be accomplished through education. The educational programmes give the student a strong education and worldly competence through Foundation Courses and a wide range of subject choices for specialization, backed by skill based functional courses. Applied Science & Humanities DepartmentApplied Science & Humanities department was established with a vision to be a center of excellence for newly admitted students coming from the school environment to technical environment / new world of technology. The department has highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty, which helps in creating an exciting academic and research oriented environment. The Applied Science es & Humanities department operates as an Academic Facilitation Unit in which subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Communication Skills, Engineering Graphics & Drawing, Manufacturing Processes (Mechanical Workshop), Central Computer Center are offered primarily to the 1st year students.

Pharmaceutics Laboratory


The Pharmaceutics Lab concerned with the preparation of different dosage forms like emulsions, suspensions,

tinctures, creams, lotions, powders, granules. Students perform various experiments regarding pre formulation studies and to

check the stability of preparation in this lab.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory

Here students get the chance to interact with different chemical aspects of drugs and additives. Qualitative and

quantitative tests like titrations, limit tests, test for purity etc and synthesis of various medicines and intermediates are

carried out here.

Pharmacognosy Laboratory

In this laboratory identification tests for crude & herbal drugs are performed. All morphological & microscopic evaluation

tests and extraction of active constituents are carried out.

Human Anatomy & Physiology Laboratory

In Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab students get chance to learn

about the all systems of human body including skeletal system,

respiratory, digestive, circulatory, nervous systems etc. Beside these

different diagnostic test like blood pressure, pulse rate, ESR,

heamoglobin content, blood group etc are also performed

OGI provides state-of-the-art conference halls with a 120 seating capacity in each department and auditorium with a 600 seating capacity that act as a common ground for students, faculty and corporate personalities for regular interfaces, conferences and other events.

CAFETERIA

OGI has an excellent double story Cafeteria with indoor seating capacity of more than 200 students. A healthy mind can only reside in a healthy body. Hence, the cafeterias has menus that are designed by a team of professional dieticians, and offer nutritious and wholesome food to ensure a well-balanced diet.

CLASSROOMS

The spacious, amphitheatre-style classrooms in the Institutions provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused discussions. They have been designed to bring together analysis with action and are augmented with integrated audiovisual teaching aids for lectures, presentations etc.

COMPUTING & INTERNET FACILITIES

OGI is equipped with sophisticated computer labs with about 1000 high quality machines. Facilities like printers and scanners are provided. High speed Internet facility is available with dedicated 1:1 bandwidth from different ISPs.

CENTRAL LIBRARY

The central library of the Campus is Air Cooled and fully computerized with a seating capacity of 250 readers. OGI collection comprising Books, Cd's, Videos, Thesis, Standards and Back Volumes in all Campus Libraries. An extensive collection of more than 30000 books, including regular periodicals, journals are available. Digital library section is the heart of central library. Book bank facility is also available for the students.

CENTRAL WORKSHOP

A basic training in central workshops satisfies the degree requirement for engineering during their first & second semester. The college workshop also undertakes repair and maintenance work of all the departments. The facilities for the fabrication of projects and other research and development activities are being provided in the workshop.

OGI offers separate magnificent hostels for boys and girls with hostel warden in each hostel to supervise day to day management. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. Each hostel has its own mess providing hygienic and nutritious meals three times a day. The menu is designed to cater to a range of taste buds. To make the stay of the students a pleasant one they are constantly involved by organizing various events, activities and celebrations within the hostels. Our hostels are air cooled with 24 hrs power backup with facility of hot water in winters in the hostels. With around 25 families of faculty and staff members' staying on the campus, the students have the advantage of getting the guidance even after the college hours and at the weekends the students can go for outside visit.

TRANSPORTTransport facility with a fleet of nearly 15 buses for both staff and students commuting from nearby areas of Hansi, Army Cantt, Hisar, Barwala, Narwana, Tohana, Agroha, Aadampur, Fatehabad and Sirsa is available. The bus routes are well planned to cover the entire nearby cities in such a manner that the daily commuters feel convenient as well as comfortable.
