BSF will hold an All lndia Examination for recruitment to the different posts ofGroup 'B' & 'C' of Water Wing in BSF for the year 2016-17.

Candidates are advised to go through the requirement oi eOucationaqualification, age, physical standards, physical effrciency test etc. and satisfythemselves that they are eligible for the posts, before applying. BSF reservesthe right to cancel the candidature of any candadate at any stage of theselection process, if he is found not qualifying any of the prescribed eligibilitycriteria. Candidates seeking reservation benefits for covt. ServanyOBC/SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as pereligibility prescribed in the notice. They should also be in possession of thecertificates in the format prescribed by Government of lndia in support of theirclarm at the time ofappltcatron.

Central Government Employees/Servants claiming age relaxation should be rnpossession of a certificate in the prescribed format from their office, in respectof the length of continuous service which should be for not less than threeyears in the immediate period preceding the closing date for receipt ofapplication. They should continue to have the status of Central GovernmentCivilian Servants/Employees from the day of application til the time ofappointment on the basis of their performance in this examination to be eligiblefor such age relaxation.

Fee: A Demand Drall/ Postal Order of Rs. 501 (Fifty) as examination fei infavour of the addressee to whom the application is addressed, payable atrespective SBI/Post Office at the location or nearby station. NgIELi Final scrutiny ol eligibility criteia with regards to age, educational qualification, caste,physical standard will be undedaken at the time of final selection/medicalexamination. 2. AGE DETERMINATION AND RELAXATION

(a) The crucial date for determaning the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of

7, EXAMINATION FEE

Each application should be accompanied by a Demand DrafuPostal Order for Rs. 50/-

(Fifty) as examination fee in favour of the addressee to whom the application is addressed,

payable at respective SBI/Post Offlce at the location or nearby station. However, fee isexempted for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, BSF Candidates,

Ex-Servicemen.

AqIH: Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

8, CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

i) Selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in the Union of lndia or abroad

ii) Candidate will be govemed by BSF Act & Rules as amended from time to time.

iii) The new defined contribution pension system is applicable for all new entrants to the

Central Govt Service on or after 01 Jan 2004.

iv) Selected candidates will have to undergo basic training and such other courses as

prescribed in the Force from time to time.

v) The posts are Combatised and selected candidate will be governed under provision

of BSF Act and Rule.

9, BSF'S DECISION FINAL

The decision of the BSF in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of

the applications, penalty for false information, mode of selection, conduct of examination(s),

allotment of examination centres and selection will be final and binding on the candidates

and no enquiry/correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

10, COURT JURISDICTION

Any dispute in regard to this recruitment will be subject to courts/tribunals having

jurisdiction over the city/town in which the concemed centre/otfice of BSF is situated and

where the candidate has submitted his application.

11. RESOLUTION OF THE TIE CASES

ln case where more than one candidate has secured equal marks, the tie cases will

be resolved as under by applying following method one after another till the tie resolved:-

a) Marks in the written examinatton, with candidate having scored higher marks in thewritten Examination placed higher.

b) Date of Birth. with older candidates placed higher.c) Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear.

their candidature for the examination will be cancelled by the selection board.

iii) Candidates already serving in GoWSemi Govt. Departments should apply throughproper channel and NOC obtained from the employer should also be enclosed.

iv) Candidates are not required to submit any original cerlificates in support of their

claims at the time of submission of application. They should ensure they fulfill all the

eligibility conditjons. However, Candidates are required to produce all original

certificates during Second phase of examination at the time of documentation.v) Candidates are informed that written examination is only a preliminary test for

screening and short listing. No result of any of the tests will be supplied to thecandidates and no correspondence will be entertained by the Board in this regard.
