Inspired by the classic, roll-collar sweater popularized by writers, artists and actors of the 50s and 60s, our 100% cotton Fisherman Sweater echoes the cable knit aesthetic of the original while maintaining a more refined and comfortable feel. Originating in the Aran Islands of Ireland, this chunky sweater was knit to protect the fisherman from the harsh conditions of the North Atlantic. Knit of natural wool, these original sweaters were often stiff and scratchy, our version is knit from pure cotton making it remarkably soft and comfortable to wear, while at the same time resilient and durable. On and off the water, the Fisherman Sweater is this spring’s most sought-after look—the perfect combination of classic and casual easy to wear style.

As temperatures rise, so too does the popularity of two perennial favorites, gingham and seersucker. Both feature recognizable patterns marked by soft colors and are crafted from lightweight cotton. Seersucker was one of the world’s first performance fabrics, worn predominately for tennis, prior to its introduction in a line of suiting by Brooks Brothers in the 1930s. Many years later, we are pleased to offer a variety of casual seersucker looks for men, women and children. Though it remains popular year round, gingham has a cheerful brightness that functions well in the warmer months of the year. Crafted from yarn-dyed cotton in a simple weave, it is lightweight and durable. For spring, our signature pattern may be found in varying scales—from small to large checks—providing a breezy cool look that promises all day comfort.

A formal occasion calls for black tie. Our 1818 Tuxedo is an essential part of every gentleman’s wardrobe. Made

in our Southwick facility in Massachusetts, the classic notch lapel tux is sophisticated, yet modern, and crafted to last a lifetime.

A semi-formal affair allows for a slightly more casual approach. A suit and tie, in linen and cotton, will keep you looking

appropriate and stylish, while keeping you cool. Try a mix of patterns and solids to keep these warm weather looks bright and fresh.
