Different models are available in order to
meet the different customer’s needs; in par-
ticular, there are combined or two-heads ma-
chines.
Techmeck can supply single inserters or cre-
ate complete plants using machines which
produce the pots of the favourite customer’s
company.
Automatic inserter
The i-pot INSERTER inserts the paper-pots
(biodegradable paper rolls filled with bree-
ding substrate) into cell-like containers re-
gardless of their height, diameter, type of
cell-like container and number of pots that
have to be inserted into each container.

In designing this machine, we aimed at obtaining a reliable
and particularly flexible product without giving up modula-
rity.
The inserters produced by Techmeck can be used with all ma-
chines for the production of paper-pots currently on the mar-
ket.
Thanks to patented technological solutions, the inserter
adapts itself to pots of different heights and diameters. In or-
der to use pots of different diameters, the operator has just to
change the inserter head, which is an easy and quick opera-
tion that doesn’t require any mechanical tools.
There is no limit to the use of cell-like containers of any shape
and size as well as to the number of pots to insert into the tray.
For each container, all possible combinations can be saved (fil-
ling of all holes, every two holes, every three holes, every two
rows, and so on).
The inserter can be used with a container destacker i-tray.
This particular destacker allows the operator to use thermo-
moulded particularly thin and, consequently, cheap cell-like
containers and recycled, though integral, trays.
Fittings
DIBBLE
Each machine can be equipped with a cheap dib-
ble which works synchronized with the inserter.
GEL DISPENSER
Like the dibble, the gel (gel or any other product
to spread onto the surface or dibbled cavity of the
pots) dispenser works synchronized with the in-
serter, as well, spreading the product only into the
cells containing the pot.
END-LINE STACKER
Stacker to pile the trays containing the inserted
pots equipped with storage belt in different cu-
stomer-tailored length and size.
SoftwareBesides the automatic management, the instal-
led software allows the operator to personalize
the working programmes.
The operator is given maximum flexibility in ad-
ding, removing or changing the production reci-
pes, the parameters and all the other functioning
modes (type of compositions-layout to create,
grasping and releasing points of the piles, mana-
gement of the container type changing, cycle ti-
mes, number of container to process, production
speeds, stops, pauses, duration, etc.) at any time.
In addition, in case of troubleshooting, stop or
failure, the operator can easily and precisely in-
tervene thanks to the warning lights on the ope-
rating panel.
The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) axle
control together with the controlling/operating
carried out by the PLC (Programmable Logic Con-
troller) creates a complete control system, which
is flexible, easy to use and able to adapt to the
productive needs.
