How much will it cost?

The purpose of the program, is to provide elementary teachers with a strong foundation in the teaching and learning of mathematics. The purpose of the courses developed for this program are to strengthen teachers’ mathematics content knowledge, pedagogy and skills for teaching elementary math grades K-6.

How were the program objectives determined?The program objectives are determined through the guidance of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) standards and objectives. A crosswalk of state math standards. and the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) are also used as guidelines for course content.
