AREPA NederlandAREPA Nederland is a leading technical service organisation, a member of the AREPA Group which has several

business locations in Europe. AREPA Nederland, together with its subsidiaries, provides services in the field

of reconditioning technical equipment after disasters have occurred via AREPA Reconditioning, carries out

decontamination activities within the scope of maintenance via AREPA Maintenance & Services, undertakes

inspections and evaluations of electro technical installations, machinery and equipment with AREPA Inspexx

and offers training and consultancy activities within the scope of electrical safety utilising AREPA Argus.

The AREPA Group was established in Silkeborg, Denmark in 1981. Our core business is the provision of

assistance to companies, insurance companies and service companies, when technical equipment has become

damaged due to fire or flooding. In recent years the original business model has been regularly adjusted and

extended.

Currently, AREPA is the authoritative market leader in the field of reconditioning and other technical services.

The AREPA Group has business locations in Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and France.

We are based in Europe, but carry out our activities all over the world.

AREPA ReconditioneringAREPA Reconditioning is the undisputed specialist in the field of reconditioning of machinery, electronics and

equipment that has become damaged due to disasters. Reconditioning includes a complex process of salvaging,

conditioning and assembly/disassembly, aimed at a complete decontamination and re-use. Due to disasters such

as fire, flooding, penetration of building materials or released chemicals, key elements in technical applications

are affected. A speedy mitigation is essential, e.g. actions to stop corrosion, to remove moisture, to cover the

contamination. Following these first actions, AREPA Reconditioning will draw up a complete reconditioning plan,

focussing on the removal of the contamination.

AREPA Reconditioning has the most advanced equipment, including ESD-controlled rooms, separate wash

station, drying rooms, vacuum dryers and, of course, AREPA Reconditioning employs highly qualified technicians.

All the necessary activities can be carried out on the site as well as in one of our six branches centrally situated

in the Netherlands.

The entire reconditioning process results in the preservation of the technical equipment, saving of costs of

repurchase and reduction of the business interruption.

AREPA Maintenance & ServicesFor over 25 years AREPA Nederland has been the leading name in respect of the reconditioning of technical

installations and equipment. To enable this AREPA Maintenance & Services uses a unique in-house developed

aqueous decontamination process. This is a really intensive method; even corrosive deposits under the smallest

components and contacts are dissolved and removed.

Decontaminating technical equipment is a skill of its own. Therefore the technicians employed by AREPA

Maintenance & Service have completed their secondary technical education and have also completed additional

specialised training. Naturally, all our technicians hold a SCC certificate and AREPA Nederland has been certified

in accordance with ISO 9001.

Preventive maintenance of technical installations results in a longer working life and increases the reliability.

No matter how clean a room may seem the installations always cause contamination in the room in which these

installations are operative. For instance, crystalline contamination, precipitation of moisture and/or vapours and

discharge of grease or chemical and corrosive deposits. These substances have a negative effect on the working

of the production installations, control cabinets, switch boxes and distribution boxes. Contamination prevents

proper heat dissipation and may also cause contact problems. The chance of defects will increase significantly

and defects may even cause a fire. Anyhow, defects always entail costs. AREPA Maintenance & Services has the

expertise to carry out preventive maintenance and consequently prevents defects and costs.

AREPA InspexxIdentifying risks enables you to control and minimise these risks, and by doing so we can help you safeguard

operational continuity. Regular inspections of machinery and equipment – e.g. based on the NEN 3140 or

NEN 1010 and carried out by independent experts – are of the utmost importance. These inspections may

prevent damage, and thus minimise costs, because a defect always entails costs. AREPA Inspexx employs the

expert technicians who are able to detect any potential defect of electrical installations at a very early stage.

Repairs, however, are carried out by qualified installers.

AREPA Inspexx provides services for the inspection and documentation of electrical installations and provides

advice about standards, guidelines and directives with respect to these installations. This is of great importance,

as the pressure to have inspections carried out is constantly increasing. Not only the various authorities, but

also more and more insurance companies make strict demands concerning inspections. AREPA Inspexx holds

several certificates. These certificates states that the Dutch Health and Safety Inspectorate considers the

inspections carried out by AREPA Inspexx as inspections carried out by the inspectorate themselves.

AREPA ArgusThe know how acquired over many years, the knowledge of risk control and the requirements of the existing

clients motivated AREPA Nederland to extend its consultancy activities and to offer training and education in

the field of electrical safety. This division, AREPA Argus, has become an important player in its market segment.

The activities are aimed at a significant improvement in electrical safety. AREPA Argus employs a large group

of experienced consultants and trainers, who, because of their passion and expertise, have brought this trade

to a substantial higher level.

AREPA Argus gives advice, supports and provides various training programmes in the field of electrical safety,

training courses aimed at promotion of expertise (occupational training) and training that contributes to a safe

environment, where activities are carried out safely (health and safety training). A few examples: Skilled Person

NEN 3140, Sufficiently Trained Person NEN 3140, Safety Trainer Inspector Electrical Work Equipment NEN 3140.

We also provides a wide range of thermography training. AREPA Argus offers customised services to a variety

of clients. Our clients include companies in various industrial sectors, government organisations, insurance

companies and intermediate companies, as well as several retail organisations and sector organisations.
