Village life is vibrant with many active clubsand associations. There is a local Church ofEngland primary school in the centre of thevillage and good schools locally includingWycliffe College, an independent school for12–19 year olds and Maidenhill School which

provides secondary schooling for 11– 16 yearolds. Each is within two miles of the village inthe town of Stonehouse. The small village isalso served by a doctor, dental surgery and a mobile library.
