took place on 23 - 25 September 2019 at the Doha

Exhibition & Convention Center, continuing to target

the local and international market by providing a unique

platform to meet buyers and conduct business.

OPENING CEREMONYHis Excellency Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Minister of Commerce

and Industry inaugurated The Big 5 Construct Qatar on

25 September 2019 at the Doha Exhibition & Convention

Centre. He was supported by local and foreign dignitaries

and ambassadors, some of whom supported their respective

country pavilions. Dignitaries and Ambassadors from India,

Cyprus, Australia, Canada, Nigeria, Georgia, Turkey and Spain

were also present.

40% GROWTH OF INTERNATIONAL PRESENCEThe 2019 edition saw huge growth in international presence with

a 40% increase in new countries. Turkey represented the largest

pavilion at the show, reinforcing the impressive growth Turkish

products have seen across the region. The Big 5 Construct Qatar

also saw new presence from the Czech Republic, Netherlands,

Portugal Spain, France and Germany.

LEAD APP SCANNER

The Big 5 Construct Qatar pioneered the use of technology to improve face

to face business. As part of their stand booking, exhibitors at the event

had access to a powerful lead collection app allowing them to capture

client data right on their smartphones throughout the event.

FREE CPD WORKSHOPS

The show attracts key quality buyers with 36 completely free-to-

attend CPD workshops covering Architecture & Design, General

Construction, Project Management, Sustainability, BIM and Women

in Construction. Over 6,000 construction professionals attended in 2019

to enhance their professional skills.
